Remarks
Eligibility of the course BTech was to get 70% or higher to confirm your eligibility. I went to the college where they properly explained to me all the benefits of studying here and all the placements. They gave me a college brochure with an application form attached to it and gave me a separate slip which contained a list of all documents I had to submit within a given time. They also gave us a form for I-card and a small slip for dress measurements that we had to submit alongside the documents. The admission process in SRMCEM is good so I don't think it needs an improvement
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I had an attachment towards computers since childhood and I knew once I get more advanced in it, I will have a good skillset which would help me in the future. It would also help me in a good placement. The faculty is also good. For the freshers, there are SGs also known as student guides who are from the second or third year and help you across the college before the college sessions. They make you fully aware of the college and tell you about placements,
Placement Experience
According to me, students become eligible by the end or before the end of the third year and then there are specific teachers in the college that help you and make them practice how to face an interview. In SRMCEM almost everyone gets a placement even if it's of the low package but the percentage of students getting a good placement is 80%. There are many good companies that have come to our college like HCl, Wipro, Google, Paytm Amazon etc
Fees and Financial Aid
If we look at the fees, the fees have been constant with no increase or decrease and the cost of the study is also affordable as compared to other colleges like Amity (Lucknow). And yes we also get scholarships based on our performance in JEE. Actually, if you are a counselling student then it is beneficial for you as you can get a good decline in your fees that will reduce your college fees to a lesser amount
Campus Life
If we see at SRMCEM, there are many fests held in a month or so. Freshers parties, Diwali nights, Dandiya nights, technical fests like robo wars, Robo soccer and many more to describe.SRMCEM has all in it good studies as well as proper enjoyment and many activities to participate in with exciting rewards.SRMCEM also has their own football team that's the leading team in every college in Lucknow till far. Their spirit and dedication to playing football are really worth watching. Also, there are many exciting clubs for students to join to gain extra knowledge, and develop their communication skills,, drama club, choreography club, dance club, literature club, technical clubs like Algozenith, Geeks for Geeks and much more. The seniors that handle these clubs are really good and help you in achieving a great potential
