Remarks
You must have above 75% in 12th for Btech for the general category and some concession is for another category students. Admission is fully done on the basis of JEE mains marks. Counseling is done on the site of the university itself. So you have to separately apply for the same on the site. Before 2021, the MET entrance exam was conducted by the university to fill major of seats of the BTech but from 2021 all the seats are filled on the basis of jee mains rank. The cut-off for CSE is comparatively higher than for other branches.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen BTech for better placement and good opportunities in this field. The faculty-student ratio is good enough in a government university. All the faculties mostly completed their Ph.D. in their respective fields. Some of the guest faculties are for first-year students but they are also well qualified. This course is of 4 years and has 8 semesters (6 months for each). Semester exams are easy enough to get past by solving previous years' problems.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are not as much provided in the university. You have to apply separately outside the campus for that. But PPO has been offered to students in the third year students. Major companies such as Infosys, TCS, Microsoft, condensation, etc provide the opportunity for placement.
Placement Experience
Placements are quite good compared to other state government universities. An average of 7 LPA is the package of the university. Almost all the students of CSE are get placed. Other branches such as IT, and ECE also has good placement. Core branch students do not have many opportunities and they opt for Gate and other exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are comparatively less than private colleges (96k for academics per year+ and 24 k for hostel per year). Up government, scholarships are provided to all the student's residents of up. All the major tech companies visit the campus except some of the top companies like google.
Campus Life
Campus life is good enough. Many tech fests are organized by college societies. TechSrijan is one of the best fest organized by IEEE MMMUT. The library is not as much bigger as compared students in the university. Sports activities are organized by CSA MMMUT. Many big grounds are there in the university for playing cricket, Bollyboll, Badminton, etc. All the branch have their respective societies and some of the other societies such as IEEE, SAE, etc are there in the university.
