College Review

There are 180 Seats in IT ( 160 ( For 10+2 Science) and +20 ( For D2D ) ) Students. If you have been a student of the Gujarat State Education Board( Gseb), you need to give GUJCET Exam ( Gujarat Comment Entrance Test). According to your merit rank, you may get admission if your rank is under 4000-5000. Also, there are Management Quota Seats, if you're eligible according to the selected criteria, u need to pay the same amount of fees that other Acpc students pay. If there are so many applications for MQ seats, they will elect you according to your merit rank. NRI Seats are also available which cost you almost double of regular yearly fees. (You may apply for MQ and NRI Seats on Charusat Website).

I wanted to do software engineering specifically. There're 180 students but we're divided into 8 to 10 batches ( each batch consists of 25-30 max students). For each batch, one faculty is responsible for every particular student. So Ratio of Students: Faculty is 30:1. Every faculty must have completed BTech+ MTech ( + Ph.D. some faculties are pursuing) to be Faculty. So Facilities are much-experienced and well prepared for their field and assigned subject to teach. Faculties complete the course before every exam perfectly. There are 2 midterm exams ( Internal), first one is taken after 1-1.5 months of sem starting and another after 1.5-2 months of the first internal. Then, there are the Practical exam, Viva, and External Exam.

Every IT branch of Charusat has a Subject named " Student Group Project" in Which student has to make one project every semester. So they can be experienced with their knowledge practically. Department of IT, Allows students to do full-time internships in national and international companies from the 7th Semester. Apart from that, every student has to do a summer internship after the 4th and 6th semesters. They provide a list of companies where students can apply for internships.

As Charusat Is a private University, If you've been admitted through ACPC / MQ: You need to pay 1,28,000 for one year ( 2 Semesters). 64,000 + 2000 (Exam fees) for a particular semester. For NRI Quota Seats, around 2.5- 3 lakhs for one year. For TFWS (Tuition fee waiver Seat ) - only University exam fees are needed to pay. You'll get MYSY- 50% of fees or 50,000 ( Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavlamban Yojna ) if you've secured an 80/80+ Science Percentile Rank. Other than that, there are many Scholarships given by charusat according to criteria..which may effective in the total fees paid.

Campus Life is very very Socialized, friendly, and Digitalized with an Internet Connection. University has one of the best infrastructure and many lawn gardens, Auditoriums, Labs, Workshops, Sports Grounds, lakes, Canteens, Cafes, and much more to hang out and Enjoy during your college days. SPOUSAL( Annual Cultural+ Sports Fest), Cognigens ( Tech Fest), Vrund ( Garba Fest ), Indian Festivals Celebrations, International Days Celebrations, and Hackathons are arranged at a huge level which has big valued prizes for winners. There's a Very big and Well Organized Library in Admin Building where one can find any book related to his /her domain or Intrest. Also, Library has a Centralized AC Reading hall, a Computer lab with High-speed Internet Connection and with much more facilities... Classrooms have Air Conditioning, Projectors, a Sound system, Windows for natural light, Big Boards, and Very nice Benches to seat comfortably. Google Students clubs, Rotaract Club, Sports & Culture clubs, etc. are there.

There's No GD, Interview, or Test for admission. You are admitted according to your merit rank which is based on your past scores in the 12th Grade + Entrance Exam ( GUJCET/ JEE ). Other than the Gujarat state board students are also admitted through JEE and board exam performance. Also, International students are Eligible to admit to Charusat.
