Remarks

For me, it was something I could wish to have in my college and I got it. From library to garden, classroom to heritage hall, flowers to trees, canteen to secret stairs, faculty to admin staff, caterers to support staff, you will be spellbound for always.

Entrance Preview

I gave entrance for Bachelor of elementary education which was in only 6-8 women colleges of delhi then. I ranked 10th in that exam and then we had interviews and then counselling. Number 10 became the lucky no. And I again secured a tenth rank in interview then while counselling session the counseller asked preference of college and I knew I had to say Miranda House because it was my dream college. A place where i could be myself without modifications.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

This specific course could be said as best course.

Internships Opportunities

It was as awesome as it had to be. Being an intern teacher in raputed schools was an experience that time that gives goosebumps even now. Atleast to me!

Placement Experience

4

I got placed in a raputed organisation as curriculum developer and now teaching in another school with a good salary, almost sixth pay band.

College Events

5

Well. Just google Tempest, Miranda House, you will get a better picture than I can describe here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I had a friend in hostel and always she used to say that she doesnt want to go back home or leave this hostel. One of the most beautiful places in college with excellent food, too good rooms and a fee that is worth of that all.

Fees and Financial Aid

I dont know or got any but yes there were always something on notice boards or that girls used to talk about.

Campus Life

5

If you want that all, thus college is where you should be.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are the true guides here, alumni are the inspiration.Brinda karat, minissha lamba, ahiela dixit, rajni abbi, nandita das, arti mehra and so many other names that have made the name even bigger.

Faculty

4

Faculty that matches your thoughts, be it good or not so good.

Placement Experience:

Students in B.ed course become eligible to take jobs in the last semester i.e 4th semester. The college does not provide any placement in our course instead students themself have to mail and contact different schools to secure a teching job. Average package a student can expect depends on many factors like their subjects, qualifications and skills. On an average one can expect around 6lpa in private sector. For securing jobs in government schools Students have to clear exams like DSSSB etc where average package ranges from 10 -12 lpa. Many of my seniors are doing jobs in private schools as techers while some teach online and have their you tube channels. I am planning to do masters in English literature from DU to increase my knowledge and job opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.El.Ed. curriculum offers an interdisciplinary approach, blending theory and practice across subjects like Education, Psychology, and Sociology. It emphasizes hands-on teaching experience through internships, where students practice in real classrooms. There's a strong focus on child development, helping future teachers understand diverse learning needs and manage inclusive classrooms effectively.
