Remarks

I applied for Colleges through JoSAA/CSAB. I got selected for this college in the first round of CSAB for the Civil engineering branch .and in the second round I got upgraded to Electronic and communication engineering at Sri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra Jammu & Kashmir. After this, I applied for local spot counseling conducted at University. Level by the institute of technology guru ghasidas University Bilaspur Chhattisgarh as Seats was vacant. I got selected for the IT branch and I switched my college as there was pressure from relative of too many fees at SMVDU.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose IT as you all know everyone wants to take only CSE. I didn't get cse so IT became my branch. most of the faculties are either Ph.D. holders or Ph.D. pursuing in the university itself. the faculties are not so renowned or not so bad. There is always an exam scenario here every month. because there are two CTs (CT-1 & CT-2 each of 15 marks on the name of internal assessment) and an End semester exam of 70 marks. Here there are no marks for the assignment. you have to study to pass the course.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 29350 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution Fees is 29,350 per year( academic excluding fooding and lodging).No scholarship from the college you are going to get. Those who belong to Chhattisgarh can take benifit or help from University in getting their scholarship from Chhattisgarh shasan. The placement scenario is changing gradually.Now the placement cell is active .

Campus Life

Equilibrio is techfest.There is no AC but only a fan in the classroom. Nexus is a club for alumni interaction run by students. Campus life is okay. You will not get the vibe of an engineering college here also because This is a central university and engineering is just a small part of this so you will find students from pharmacy, law, general BSc, etc in your college canteen.

This college is the best college in whole Chhattisgarh in terms of placements. This college will give you best placements that even the gov. college of it's level will not. A minimum of 400000 per year placements here is easy. And if you got some amazing skills then you can get a package more than 2200000 per year. That's very nice!

Admission:

I had completed my diploma From Rungta college in 2015 and then by Counseling (Counselling of BE /B Pharma) I got Lakhmi. Chand institute Of Technology college then there was a call from the college for my Document verification after verification I filled up the admission form, then the fee submission.

Life in Electronic Department in Guru Ghasidas University.

I got confirmed application in other Central University of different states but since I am from Chhattisgarh so I took this university and also I got admission to top state colleges of my state, but I prefer this university or state because it is central, for entering into this college you have to give exam and you can go through josa counselling or sees have counselling, you have to be 12th pass and for josa 75% is required in 12th, hot general category the cut off is 85% tile....Read More
