Eligibility of all UG courses is 10+2, and for taking admission in B.tech you should have (PCM) as of three main subjects in 12th. The university has its own website (www.gla.ac.in ) where you can get all the information regarding to your admission process. They conduct their own entrance exam for admission, Only After qualifying for the GLA entrance exam you will be able to take admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I will tell truly you why I have opted for this course, cause I wanted to be a software engineer from my 10th class. The faculty is too good at the university. All the teachers put their 100% into the students. And all teachers behave well with the students. All the teachers are Ph.D. in their subjects and they teach well and good to their students. and students also give good results to their university. There are 2 exams in one semester: midterm : end term If you are from up board so it may be a little difficult to get marks in the exam.
Placement Experience
Basically, a student in the 6th or 7th semester starts to apply for placements. many companies visit the campus for the placements such as 1. Microsoft 2. HCL 3. Infosys 4. TCS 5. Wipro 6. Accenture many more. all the service-based companies visit the campus. more than 500 visits to the campus. average placements go to 5 LPA. 90%+ students placed in the MNCs. all the students think to get a better placement after the degree. I thought that my father spend approx 10 lakh in 4 years on my studies. so I want to return them in a year.
Fees and Financial Aid
As it is a private university so the fee for of the B.tech course is high, 1st year.166000 2nd year .169000 3rd year.172000 4th year.175000 Yes, the university provides its own scholarship. If you get 80+ in 12th (PCM) you will get Rs. 25000/- per annum. but the student has to maintain a minimum CPI of 8.00 to avail of the scholarship in the next year of his studies.
Campus Life
The university is very big so there are too many clubs and they conduct a tech fest every week. something something is always going in the university As named the annual fest and it is held only once a time in a year. All the books are available in the main library of the university. sports and curricula are good as in a month a team of every game goes for the tournament such as in IITs,NITs, etc
