Remarks

The admission process was very smooth, I just went into the college and within two to three hours I got admitted to the college. The application form was given to all students by a sir who was there only for distributing forms on that day. In west Bengal kulti college, all can take the reservation benefits if eligible but I was not eligible for any reservation as I took direct admission to the college. Yes, I think there should be a mentor who should help us to fill the form correctly but overall everything was good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I've chosen this course because this course offers not only education values but humanities also. According to my faculty: the student ratio was balanced all students can take benefit from the faculty very easily. All the faculty members were highly qualified they can answer all our queries and their teaching method was very nice, they teach us from the dept to make our base strong. Term exams were once in 6 months and in between six months they take tests to prepare us. The terms exam was very difficult and as the semester passes it seems tougher in the future.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are quite adorable because as I belong to a middle-class family I can afford the fees and cost of study along with extra miscellaneous expenditures. I've applied for SVMCM which provides yearly benefits to help minorities campus doesn't provide job opportunities.

Campus Life

There is an annual fest once a year and a Pooja celebration every year. The library is not that much beneficial for students as it doesn't contain sufficient books. The class was good and cleaned properly every day. College also provides sports and extracurricular activities as I have enrolled in cricket. There is many WhatsApp group run by students of 1st,2nd, and 3rd years separately.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
