Eligibility - CAT exam, based on which percentile cutoff is for the interview. After the Interview, students get admission into IIMC. The application form is available on iimcat.ac.in Application, the fee was 2000 for us, and it is around 2300 this year. The application form is available in the month of Aug.-September. No reservation was availed. I do not see any improvement in the process.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was always fond of management. During my graduation, I always participated in activities where I could show my managerial skill, and I wanted to improve my skill, so I chose this course. The faculty: student ratio is 1:10. Most of the faculties have done their Ph.D.. from premier institutes. There is a trimester system, so exams take place in every 3 months and the difficulty of the exam depends on the prof.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no fee hike policy as such. It depends on the decision of the management. For 2021 student fee was 23 lakh and for 2022 student fee is 25 lakhs. Various kinds of scholarships are provided to needy and scholar students. Aditya Birla scholar is given to academic scholars and NBFA is given tot he needy students whose family annual income is low.
Campus Life
The annual fest of IIM Calcutta is 7 lakes Fest. This fest is mostly organized in November. There are plenty of books and journals available online as well as offline. The classrooms are well equipped with furniture, ac, Wi-Fi, and smart class. There are many sports and extracurricular activities which take place all around the year. There are more than 40 clubs and Self-interest groups that are run by the students.
