Best College for Freshers

Bachelor's of Computer Application (BCA) is an Undergraduate Degree for 3 years. Eligibility for the course is 12th pass with a minimum of 45% marks from any recognized board. The application process is very easy as an Applicant can apply online on the IMAGE website or can go to College Reception and apply through a form by paying a fee of? 800/-. *Keypoints on my Overall Experience:- 1. Infrastructure is good. The canteen facility is available, although there is nothing available to purchase and eat you can take your tiffin or food items and have them along with your friends. Chilled R/O Drinking water will be available all the time. The classroom is quite decent not very big but according to the Students' capacity. It also consists of a smart class with a projector available in all classes for video sessions. 2. Placement is a factor where it gets an edge over others as it shows in their advertisement in newspapers and hoardings. So it holds a good placement record and most students have got placed

The course curriculum consists of BCA/ BBA / BBM / B.Com(P) / B.Sc.(IT) . I choose BCA as it is the course that allows me to get some skills in the Computer field and got myself placed in the IT sector, which I got too in WIPRO. Pros:- 1. Faculties are available for each subject. They charge for some add-on courses which will benefit in adding some extra skills. Cons:- Most faculties only teach theoretical but not practical which is needed the most in these courses. Most of those add-on courses were not conducted or were just taught as a formality with some basics of that technology and nothing else.

Internship opportunities are not provided to us. Although they promised to provide some references after a request for an internship. So I don't find it useful in terms of internship at my time. I hope it has been improved in 2-3 years.

Placement is the thing that attracts here more to the college. This college has very good placement records and almost 80% of students get placement in some IT or management companies like Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, and ICICI were some renowned firms that visited here. The highest package they claim is around ?10lacs in Byju's and also ?5lacs in Tech Mahindra. But most of the cases package around ?1.8lacs. I am already working in Wipro after getting placed and overall the college is good for placement.

The fee structure is a bit higher side according to the college, Course, and facilities. The fee hike is now doubled and come to? 350,000 approx. Many Similar colleges have fewer fees. Although placement records are very good and I got into one of them which is Wipro Technologies under the Work Integrated Learning Program which offered an M.Tech degree from Bits-Pilani which happens on Saturdays or Sundays and Working on company projects on all working days. The stipend was offered for 1st year 15k/month, 2nd year 17k/month, 3rd year 19k/month & 4th year 23k/month, during these years we are considered Student computer applications. After completion of 4 years, we are hired directly as Senior software engineers and from then on we get enough package and good perks.

Campus life is decent and nothing much to discuss as it's not a big college it's a kind of institution so it does not have the campus to go here and there. But you can go outside in the breaks to have something on the streets and come quickly before another class. Sports and extracurricular activities do not take place mostly. Only college takes participation sometimes in other college events or sports. So overall campus life is nothing much to have here.

There were no GD but an interview and written Test was taken during admission. The written test consists of basic knowledge of maths, English, and computer. After that interview will be conducted by either Director, HOD, or Senior faculty. I did not prepare specifically for admission as I the basics of these I already know but my communication in English was very poor at that time. So the director told me to take admission in the premium course which consists of some extra basics classes in the beginning to improve my English and maths. So overall a good experience.
