Remarks
The shortlist for personal interview were on the basis of CAT percentile, academic background, diversity, and work experience. After being shortlisted, candidates had to sit for an interview, which was virtual owing to the pandemic.
Course Curriculum Overview
In my opinion, the course curriculum was very well thought and the professors are extremely qualified and talented. During the first year, it was made sure that we learn something about each field, from finance to operations, so in the second year, we can make an informed decision on the courses we want to choose.
Internships Opportunities
We get ample opportunities for internships across all different sectors including Finance, Consultancy, Product Management, Operations, and Marketing. The college also takes an effort in facilitating the preparation of students by hosting prep sessions, mock GDs, and PIs.
Placement Experience
The Career Development and Placement Office (CDPO) of the campus which mainly consists of a chairperson and 10 placement representatives (5 of which are elected and the other 5 are selected through interviews), take their job very seriously. We have one of the best placement statistics among our sister schools.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee of the course is 23L for two years which mainly includes tuition and hostel fees. We have to pay 4-5L for each of the 6 terms. Educational loans are available at ease and low-interest rates. The placement opportunities are very good which makes the fees worth it. I got an internship at Mastercard as a strategy consultant, with a stipend of 1.25L per month.
Campus Life
Campus life is exactly how it's perceived to be, with a lot of clubs for students, both academic and cultural. We have TT and pool tables in each hostel along with other games. There's a gym, swimming pool, indoor games arena and a multi-court for sports.
Hostel Facilities
While the rooms are small for some hostels, they make up for it with different amenities. The food quality is not the best but there are several other options including tuck shops, night mess, and Nescafe within the premises.
