IIMC - The Fin Campus

The admission process is so transparent, firstly, we need to appear for CAT, and on the basis of its shortlisting, we appear for college interviews. The application form is available on the official website of CAT I.e. iimcat.ac.in The application form opens in the month of August. The application fee was INR 2000 for us. If a person is availing of reservation benefits then his/her application fee reduces to half. No reservation benefit was availed by me. I do not see any improvement in the admission process, the admission process is so transparent.

Our course consists of all managerial subjects, and I am a finance geek person. IIM C is known for finance, so I chose this course. the faculty: student ratio is around 1:8. This is the ratio with permanent faculty members available on campus. Apart from this, we have many visiting faculties with good industry knowledge and from top companies. All of the faculty members are well qualified. All of them had done their MBA, and P.hd. from premier institutes, and all of them have their unique way of teaching. Our program has a trimester system, so we have exams every 3 months. the difficulty of the exam is average, most of the exams are case based or the topics that are covered in the class.

Our institute does not have a fee hike policy. The fee hike decision depends only on the board's decision, The program fee for 2023 students was 23 lakhs, and the fee for 2024 students is 25 lakhs. Our campus provides several kinds of scholarships, it provides a scholarship for reserved categories, economically weak people, and scholar students also. Need-based financial assistance is given to all those whose annual income is less than 8 lakh.

7 lakes fest is the annual fest of IIMC. In this fest, we cover 3 verticals - Business, culture, and sports. This fest is for 3 days in November. Apart from this we also organize a 1-day fest by marketing club- mandi in December. Most of the books and journals related to the business are available in the library online as well as offline mode. The classes are well equipped with a board, projector, ac, and wifi. Sports and extracurricular activities take place all around the year on campus. We do organize extracurricular activities every month. We have 38 clubs and student interest groups for organizing these activities. All these clubs are run by students.
