Remarks

The 1st step involves cracking the CAT exam with >99 percentile. The next step involves receiving a call letter for interviews. After qualifying for the interview and based on the composite score marks provided on the college's website, clearing the cut-off will ensure admission to IIM Calcutta.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course to develop management skills revolving around various domains. The teaching method in most courses involves case-based teachings of real-life company examples. Also, most courses have quizzes, mid-terms, end-terms, assignments, presentations, and project work as part of the marks distribution. Exams are held timely and mostly cover teachings from the class.

Internships Opportunities

The companies visiting the campus can be viewed on the college website. The job roles are offered in 6 different sectors: finance, product management, consulting, general management, marketing, and operations.

Placement Experience

The college provides summer internships with a stipend for 1st-year students and final placement opportunities for 2nd-year students yearly. Fees and Financial Aid

The MBA 2-Year program has a course fee of 23 lakh for the 2 years. The other fees revolve around the mess food charges and miscellaneous expenses incurred by a student in a month. The 7 Lakes Fest is the annual fest of the college held in November. Placements are good sometimes but not exactly sure because some batches are not placed somes are placed or somes are not then they trying to get placement for own if i talk about the percentage of placement then i would say 60% not 100%,for 3rd semester students are eligible for placement & one terms is here that is 75% attendance is mandatory for getting placement, i have visited 3-4 companies & they offer 3.7-4 lpa package,my plan after getting the degree, firstly i looking for a company around 4-5lpa package then i started to develop my self

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Placement Experience:

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.

Last semester students become eligible for campus placements. Students are eligible for campus placements from the fifth term. 300+ companies visit the campus to recruit 500 students. The highest package is 70LPA and the Average package is 20LPA. 100% placements. after getting the degree students will join the recruited companies.

The eligibility for this course is having a bachelor's degree with minimum of 55% of marks and then the cut off for CAT exam varies from student to student. They calculate the composite scores for every student considering different factors like academic background, work experience, gender diversity, past academics, etc. I would recommend that the institute should have a fair shortlisting criteria which should be disclosed to everyone because I saw people topping the CAT exam still not getting calls from institute because of their strict criteria especially for general engineer male....Read More

Enrolling at IIM Kolkata was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I enrolled in an MBA at IIM Kolkata due to my strong interest in the subject.
