Remarks
Eligibility of the course is Intermediate with Maths, Physics and Chemistry streams. Application, Admission and all other processes for this college are done through a separate system i.e. TSEAMCET. One should clear the Telangana State Engineering Entrance Examination and follow the college preferences process, counselling and document verification for admission. There is a fee reimbursement facility for Telangana students (i.e. consecutive six years of education in Telangana). We can also get admission into this college directly by visiting them.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I was very interested in the study of Thermodynamics, the Theory of machines, the Strength of materials and experimenting in these subject areas. The faculty ratio here is 1:10 in this course. The Faculty is very good in their subject and moderately have industrial experience. Teaching methods are usual and can improve a lot. Their qualification is good. Many professors here are PhDs and M.tech grads. Mid-term exams are conducted twice in a semester here and are moderate in difficulty level.
Placement Experience
From the 5Tth semester, students are eligible here for placements. There are opportunities for each course. The companies visited are NNIT, Election, Amazon, and IBM. The average salary package here is about 2.5LPA TO 3LPA. The percentage of students getting here placements is about 60%.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no fee hike in the time I have spent here and the cost of the study is 70000 for my course. There is a fee reimbursement policy for students residing in Telangana. There are no jobs available on campus.
Campus Life
Usually, fests are conducted in the month of February in this college. Every year the name of the fest keeps changing and every branch has different fest names. It is quite a good experience for cultural fests here. Books and journals are available here in abundance. Amenities in classrooms are average like presentation screens and projectors etc. Sports and extracurricular activities on campus are quite frequent and encourage us to participate in them. There are clubs like Robo club, Dance club, etc run by students.
