JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA A VERY AFFORDABLE COLLEGE WITH VERY GOOD ROI

The admission process is so simple, simply you have to give JEE Mains exam(JEE ADVANCE NOT NECESSARY ) and you must have 55% marks in your PCM IN CLASS 12thalong with that to taking admitted to JMI in BTECH you have to fill out a separate counselling form (cost around 500) that will be available at the time of around APRIL-MAY then university roll out the list of the selected candidates based on JEE MAINS SCORE.you have to come to campus for addmission. The addmission process is so simple you have to just fulfil some basic documents most important is the MIGRATION CERTIFICATE. CUTOFF for computer engineering is around 96.5 percentile which is around 35000 CRL.

I choose this course because I have a keen interest in coding and WEB DEVELOPMENT so I thought pursuing this course will help me in building my career in my field of interest. The faculties are very good support and well qualified most of the teachers are professors means they had done PHD in their respective fields and recently some of the teachers are featured in the top two per cent scientists in the world. Faculty to student ratio is good such that in our lab class there are three teachers present in the lab of 45 students and at least there are two teachers per subject you can clear your doubts with them whenever you want they provide you with full support. I think passing the exam is a little bit difficult there are two sessional exams and one end sem exam per semester syllabus is a little bit difficult so you have to put in your efforts to pass the exam.

Students from the 7th sem are allowed to sit in campus placements. The placements of college are getting better in recent years many companies like AMAZON.L, TRILOGY INNOVATION, JOSH TECHNOLOGY, INFO EDGE, SAMSUNG, ACCENTURE, NOKIA, WIPRO, TCS etc visited our campus and make several offers like the previous year SAMSUNG give 42 offers with a package of 14lpa and AMAZON gives 7 offers with 44lpa and Accenture give 22 offers with 13.5 LPA and many more overall campus placements are good enough to take a decent job and start your career, the highest package is 44 LPA and avg package for COMPUTER engineering is 11.5 LPA, my plan is to sit in campus placements and to take a high paying job.

The fees structure is very low in comparison to other colleges first-year fees are around 16000 per year and then in subsequent years, it is around 13000-14000 per year as such there is no hiking policy as it is a centrally funded university so when the government orders fees hike there will be some and there is also lots of scholarship you can avail like NSP government scholarship, JAMIA Alumni Association scholarship, JAMIA teachers Association scholarship, Junaid taj memorial scholarship etc. There is an on-campus recruitment drive where the company comes to campus and takes your test interviews and selects you based on your performance.

Life at the campus is so good you get exposure to the campus students are so good and supportive of each other there is a fest known as TALIM MELA on founders day held every year and several interdepartmental fests on several occasions like teachers day on education day etc a fest called FENESTRA held every year in our faculty. There is a library on the campus DR ZAKIR HUSSAIN LIBRARY where you can issue books etc and there is also a separate library from I engineering faculty where you can issue books and journals to read. A very good sports Complex is present on the campus with a well-maintained basketball, lawn Tennis court and football ground and a cricket ground with two pavilions.
