Remarks

One should be passed intermediate/12th with physics, chemistry, and maths(PCM) with at least 55% marks, and also you should have to clear jee mains with the required percentile or cutoff which varies from branch to branch but for computer engineering, you should atleast secure 97-98 percentile. The application form will be available on the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia in the same way that application fees and application dates are also mentioned on the website. The application fee is around 600 rupees and the application form are generally available from January to February. There are various types of reservations such as Muslim quota, OBC quota, J&K quota, and Kashmiri migrant quota. I took admitted during the COVID period but still, had to go to college offline for counseling and to complete the admission process which can be done online also.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because of the faculty member and environment of the college. There are many senior professors and assistant professor which are quite helpful in a manner. There are all the labs available for the students which are necessary for the student. There is an apple lab also which is quite good. Faculty to student ratio is quite good in our course there is excess professor to teach us also in the lab we have at least 3-4 professor and assistant for each lab to look after. So you don't need to worry about the faculty members. All the professors are highly qualified with at least a Ph.D. and research work some of them have also worked in NITS and foreign colleges. The assistant professor is also a Ph.D. graduate and also they are very helpful and understanding. Their teaching is also good they teach us according to our needs and modern society and industries. The exams were held at their respective time and were quite smooth the professor are quite lenient in marking.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The college provides a decent internship Many companies come for the internship and many students get the internship some of the students even get the internship in the third semester also. Some of the famous companies are Amazon, Microsoft, Samsung, etc.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement of the college is quite good. The students are eligible for the placement from the 7th semester. The companies that visited the campus are Amazon which gave offers to 3-4 students, and Accenture gave offers to 10-12 students. Other companies like TCS gave offers to 50-60 students and also other companies visited the campus in total around 200 students get placed. The highest package that was made on campus is 22 lakh and the average placement is about 10 lakh. You get the best return on investment in the college About 70-80% of students get placed on campus. I will go to study for a master's abroad after my graduation

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very low it is around 15k per year which is very low as compared to any iits and nits. There is a lot of scholarships available for students with low financial background there is also alumni scholarship and state and central government scholarship available. The college also doesn't increase the fees every year because it is a government college so you don't need to worry about the fee hike. There is a great opportunity for campus placement a lot of companies visit the campus for placement and internships the dream companies like (amazon, Samsung, Accenture, and many more) visit here for job opportunities. And you can always try for campus placement because of the college's reputation

Campus Life

3.5

Campus Life is very good the university campus is very large. The seniors are also very helpful with their studies and other things. There are a lot of societies and clubs in the college for coding and other activities you get to learn a lot from the societies and you can always use it in your resume. There are a lot of fests such as alibi-mela, meraj, and founder's day which are quite good and entertaining, and refreshing for the students. The library is quite big you can get any book you want and it is also available in excess quantity. There is an excess source in the classroom that is quite big and a projector is also available in each class There are many grounds in the college one the favorite is Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi sports complex which is quite big and you can play any sport you want all the accessories and kits are available there many of the players in the national team were played there such as Virender Sehwag. GDSC is a society associated with Google which ran by students

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
