Eligibility was to pass the jee advanced exam, which is conducted by the IIT itself, on the basis of the rank secured, and the branch choice filled the admission took place. Details of the course structure, fee details, academic calendar, and faculty details are on the institute website i.e rgipt.ac.in.

Course Curriculum Overview

Electronics Engineering had good scope in India, as the world is moving towards semiconductor devices and chips for automation. Faculty: student ratio of every branch is about 1:10, and all the faculty are M.tech passed from recognized IITs.Exams are conducted twice a semester.

Internships Opportunities

Internships in the companies like ONGC, GAIL, HAL, BPCL, IOCL, ST MICROELECTRONICS, MICROSOFT ENGAGE, etc provide internship. The stipend and other details are kept confidential. Various projects in the energy sector are from this institute.

Placement Experience

From the end of the 6th semester, you will be eligible for a placement session. Companies like ONGC.IOCL, HPCL, BPCL, TORRENT GAS, and other PSUs visit campus. The highest package offered is 26 LPA and the minimum is 4.5 LPA. About 60 % of Students are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is very less or minimum fee hike and on avg, you will have to pay 11 lakh for your BTech. There is a MERIT CUM MEANS, scholarship which is given to the top 10% of students of every branch on the basis of cpi. This scholarship is worth 25k per semester. There is no other stipend in the institute.

Campus Life

Gyaanarpan Project Amethi, one of the largest social project run by students, focus on giving government school students free and quality education both offline and online mode. A fest like Kalatarang, Urjotsav, and Trabotron is held annually in the institute. There is a lack of sports facilities like there is no ground for cricket and football.

Hostel Facilities

Facilities like Lan connection for high speed internet, table ,Chair, almirah and a bed is provided. Rooms kar well furnished with tiles and well airated. Mess quality is satisfying. You don't need to do any other paper work hostel , it will be provided on by registration.

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. The RGIPT Curriculum follows the syllabus and system of IIT Kanpur, so no need to further explain. But the implementation is not up to mark as it should be. Exams are as Mid Sem and End Sem, including two quizzes per semester.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

RGIPT expensive education , low placement support

chose RGIPT for strong core engineering and PSU placements , applies to IITS/NITS but missed cutoffs.RGIPT admission via JEE mains rang + adv rank :decent cutoff . compared to other ,RGIP has niche focus , good facult , but less city exposure and less placements...Read More

Honest Review Of RGIPT

The most important thing that mattered to my parents which caused them to take interest in this college was that it is a central government college and an institute of national importance on top of that. Also, other colleges I was getting were either too far away or were very expensive. Although according to a government college, RGIPT's fees is also very high but still lesser when compared to the others I was applying to. For admission, we have to fill out the form. The eligibility criteria is that you should have JEE Advanced rank. If the seats after allocation through Advanced are vacant, those are filled through JEE mains rank. I went for the sake of Govt. college name which turned out of no use as teaching and support is very bad. Also my course name is just a gimmick. Our college admits students on JEE Advanced and for left over seats they use JEE Mains Score. Till 90 percentile in JEE Mains students can get this college. An Honest Opinion for your future at RGIPT

This college was Central Government and was taking admission on the basis of JEE Advanced that are the only 2 reasons to take admission here. I got few colleges but I preferred this. RGIPT conducts its own admission process through its portal. Cutoff for JEE advanced was around 30-35k rank. Admission was smooth process....Read More

I was getting a better branch in this collage with more opportunities. But when I saw my other college list that I got there was the lower branches. So instead of getting good colleges like IIITs and BIT Mesra and having lower branches. I choose to come to RGIPT which is also a reputed name but with a great booming branch.
