Course Curriculum Overview

I choosed btech in computer science and engineering. Because i have more interested in coding and development applications. Students are divided into different sections each section consists of 60 students.exams will held monthly we have to score good for the internals.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 235000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities will be given to the students. So many international full funded and half funded internships will be provided.students have to apply for the internships which are selected by the University only they are not acceptable for doing outside interns.

Placement Experience

This year, the placement department has done a good job by placing a huge number of students in leading companies. A lot of companies visit our college for placements, but only a few students get placed(based upon there talents and skills they will be selected). Total of 1042 students are placed in the year 2021.

Fees and Financial Aid

Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Titan, and other MNCs visited our college for placements this year.avg is 4.5 lakhs per annum.Majority students from outside states. Designated teachers/student reps are present in every section. No language challenges, Mostly English is used on campus.

Campus Life

Multiple sports grounds & coaching present College events. Moderately busy calendar with 1-3 monthly events. Variety of food is good, Mess and Cooking arrangements are Hygienic, Quality and taste of food is acceptable. Infrastructure is eco friendly and full pf greenary hence we enjoy there alot.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel infrastructure is also soo good. There will be saperate blocks based on the year they are studying. Hostel food also some quite good. We have to book our room in online and have to make online payment.ac rooms also available.

Interview Experience

It was very good, the topics given in GD willing be like tech related and general social topics. The interview test will be like aptitude, quants, reasoning, coding and then interview with HR round.thatt

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Before admitting in Vel Tech, I've applied in Quaid E Millath, Queen Mary's College, Nandanam Arts college, Presidency college.I chose Veltech over these because It helps me financially and academically.Even though i had less marks Veltech admitted me. Yes I did get a rejection from other colleges due to my less performance in 12th Standard. It happened because of my medical issues. Admission process in Vel Tech was so simple and Neat First they will be asking for the following Aadhar 10th, 11th, 12th Mark Sheets 12th Certificate TC certificate Caste Certificate Income Certificate Bonafide (if necessary) And then we are requested to pay the full fee amount I joined through management quota.
