IET LUCKNOW is one of the best Engineering college in UP.

Before 2021, admissions in this college is done on the basis of the AKTU entrance exam but now admissions are taken on the basis of JEE MAINS Rank and separate counselling is done by AKTU for admission. So for admission to IET Lucknow, you should be appeared in jee mains exam and take part in AKTU counselling. in this counselling, there are four rounds and two spot round(only if seats are vacant). All the counselling updates are available on AKTU and IET Lucknow websites and other updates are also present there. Another state quota is also available. During counselling of the first round, if any seat is allowed then you have to pay 20000 rupees for confirmation of seats and move to the next round. This confirmation fee after the final round is merged with college fees and all other information regarding admission is available on the website.

As IET is an Autonomous institute affiliated with aktu so it has there own courses and curriculum but mainly it follows aktu syllabus. Recently in 2017-18, AKTU revised its curriculum and syllabus to provide new technologies and skills in courses and this makes them more survivable at this time. Faculty in IET is good and some very experienced and educated senior faculty are there in almost all departments.

Placement in IET Lucknow is very good in branches like CSE, IT, ECE and many good companies like Trilogy innovation, Paytm, TCS, Wipro etc which give attractive packages of about 20-36 LPA. Some Business analyst companies are also recruiting all branches of students But in CORE branches like Civil, mechanical, chemical there are not so good placements but students of these branches get decent ranks in GATE, ESE , CAT exams and other government exams like UPSC, SSC JE etc

As IET Lucknow is a government-established college so its fee structure is not so much high as compared to private colleges. For BTech civil engineering course it's fees are as- College fees is 84775 Hostel fees is 14500 Mess advance fees is 17000 per semester Other fees is 4000 The scholarship is provided to all the students who come under eligibility decided by the UP government through UP scholarship Scheme.

IET Lucknow is a fully residential institute having 8 Boys' hostels and 3 Girls' hostel. Social life on the campus is very nice as per my experience from the first year. There are many clubs and societies in the institute which provide all the assistance to the student to improve their personality and social life. IET Lucknow has a Social club -PARMARTH, a Robotics club, a dancing and music club, a literary club, a Coding club, Drama club-JOSH etc.
