Remarks

12th pass from ant boards can apply and the admission process is fully merit-based. Normally admission process starts after the publication of the 12th board result and SAJC comes under Calcutta University so there are no application fees. Around 2-3 round of the merit list is released and for BSc eco, Hons avg cutoff is around 80%.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had opted phy chem maths with eco in class 12th that is why I have chosen this course. This college faculty is awesome and its main focus is on the study. Jaipuria college is totally free from the political environment and much better than other Calcutta University colleges. If you are a non-Bengali student then you will face problems because the teacher speaks Bengali mixed with a little bit of English. Semester exams are quite difficult as usual.

As it is a government college fee is very minimal. Main expenses will comprise food and lodging which is on the higher side. Student credit cards and nsp portals provide financial assistance to students.

As I am a first-year student I got a freshers' party and the annual fest is also conducted but it's not for freshies. Jaipuria college is having fully air-conditioned Library equipped with ample books. It is also having a gym and canteen facility. It is also having Cricket and football team.NCC and NSS are also available.

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.

Remarks:

Pros:The teachers very very helpful and friendly. Loans and scholarships available. Faculties are highly qualified. Infrastructure is awesome. Cons: no placement. No stipends There wasn’t any hostel facility. Canteen could be developed.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college.
