The admission is done through JEE Advanced exam conducted each year by one of the prestigious IITs. The Application fees of JEE Advanced is Rs. 2800 for Male General Candidate and other details you can refer to this year's JEE Advanced website. You should have cleared JEE Mains to be eligible to write the JEE Advanced exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it is a great era or I must write Decade for the field of Biotechnological advancement in India where Expert research scholars are required to come up with new technologies to serve and cater to us not only in COVID-19 like pandemic but also create better and affordable healthcare infrastructure and system for India's future ahead. Faculty to Student ratio is around 15:1 Faculty here are highly Qualified and are some of the greatest mind in their field. Term exams are conducted in timely manner and we get the complete year schedule before the academic year even begins. Exams are not too difficult to pass in fact, life is quite chill here, if you attend classes regularly and study 1-2 hours apart from that you can easily get through 8+ CGPA.

There are a lot of interesting and amazing internship roles available for the students of IIT Madras and are usually intimidated by email if any such opportunity is open for any specific branch students.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placement in their 4th year. Internships are available for 2nd and 3rd year students. Highest package: 2.1 Crore per annum Average package: 18 LPA 80-85 % students get placed My plans I don't know what I'll do after getting the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is quite simple, for a 4 years course you'll be paying 12 Lakh Rs. That's 3L per year including everything tuition fees + hostel and other charges. The cost to study is quite affordable and you can get very good exposure and opportunities, obviously I don't need to mention it that "IIT toh IIT hi hota hai"
Campus Life
The Annual Cultural fest of IIT Madras is Saarang and Tecfest is Shaastra which Asia's largest student run & managed Tech. Festival. They generally happen in mid-end of January each year. The Central Library of IIT Madras is a world class library which has almost every book you would want to read at any point in your academic life which is well equipped with comfortable chairs and good ambience having centralised AC. Good Infrastructure Classrooms are there for each and every courses. Bro, You can google yourself about institute life of an IITian and especially IIT Madras. To give you an idea. You'll be literally overwhelmed by the number of clubs and sports available in the institute. Hostel Facilities
Facilities provided in the room: Single Bed, Cupboard, Table, Chair, Fan, Lan port and Internet facilities. Mess offers really good and wholesame meals. Hostel registration is completely online and seamless process.
