Admission is through the K-CET entrance exam and selection is based on rankings. Different ranking for different courses Application form is released by KEA during counseling for college admission. Availed ST reservation during admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because of my interest. The faculty-student ratio is 1:20, faculty are most qualified, few professors are qualified from IITs and NIT and few professors are qualified from the top college of Karnataka and few professors from IISc. The teaching method is good. Our college is affiliated with VTU university and term exams are conducted every 4 months and it's quite difficult to pass the exam.
Placement Experience
In the 6th-semester placement drives start. More than 30 companies visit during placement and they offer a decent package to average students and the Highest package for top students in college, the percentage of students getting placed is quite decent. After getting a degree I'm thinking to get a job or else to pursue further studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
There's no fees hike for students who got admitted through the entrance exam and who got reservation. Fees hike is only for students who got admitting through management quota. And cost to study is friendly. Scholarship is provided for all students(SSP) and for minority students (NSP) and we even get students loan with zero interest.
Campus Life
The annual fest is conducted every year(Gold rush), There are more than 40000 books available in the library and even audiobooks are available. Smart classroom, every year we have inter-branch sports competition and we have inter-college sports. We have different clubs for different activities.
