IIITD and it's placement

You can get admission to this college by 3 methods first one is JEE Mains by JEE mains you are eligible for all the branches available in the college and you will get selected acc. to your rank by JAAC Counselling method and for that, you can refer to the previous year's cutoffs which are available on its own website. Second, you can get admission by UCEED. But by UCEED you are eligible for only one branch which is Computer Science with Design(CSD) specialization and the third you can get admission by your CBSE board result as well, any stream student can apply for this one.

I chose this course because this was the best I was getting on the basis of my rank. IIITD has the most qualified or we can say the best faculty over other colleges which comes under JAC counselling and the faculty-student ratio is decent you cannot say anything that there are few courses in which 2 professors deal with 400-500 students divided into 2 sections or sometimes there's only a class of 10 students. Most of the faculty are very well qualified from the top Institutes all over the world. Every sem you have midsem examinations and endsem examinations after that you will be having biweekly assignments and quizzes. If you keep going with the topics taught in class then it's easy for you but if you think you will study the night before the exam then it won't work here.

Internships are also good. Most of the companies offer SDE roles with 50-60 k per month. Similarly like placements a lot of companies visit for internships as well. Cgpa plays a major role in placements. 7+ is considered a decent gpa and 8+ is good. Companies offer other roles as well like web development, data science etc

Placements are also one of the best things about this college as all the FAANG companies like google Microsoft adobe all reputed companies visit campus for internship and placement more than 90% of students are placed here and from the rest, a few students opt for higher studies like masters and all. The average package is 15-18 LPA approx.

Fees are one of the major drawbacks of this college and a lot of students don't opt for this college because of fees as of now my batch has to pay 3,75,000. per semester which is more than double of other colleges and for every batch the fee increases by 25,000? or 50,000. But the Delhi government provides scholarships to financially weak students and whose application for scholarships is rejected by the Delhi govt. Or by any means, they did not get a scholarship IIITD to provide their own scholarship for those students according to various categories.

IIITD's campus is far better than other colleges like DTU, and NSUT because they are large but they have old buildings and infrastructure. IIITD does not have that much area but still has better and well-maintained infrastructure. ODYSSEY is the annual fest and finally, it is going to happen in January 2023 CADENCE will also be announced soon. Each club has its own flavour and sports are at their best here we just had inter branch sports competition then after that individual sports activities and recently we had a Cricket Premier League just like IPL and next week there will be a football League so I guess that's enough to understand.

Hostels are quite decent but IIITD doesn't have enough hostel rooms because the number of students has increased since the COVID period. The meal food is average. The meal menu changes every month and the meal committee which decides the menu is consist of students only. PG near the college is very very bad. For the hostel, you can register using its own website or you can get it done by the hostel office.
