No, there was no admission test in the admission procedure. We were selected by our marks in the Higher Secondary examination. The application form can be easily found on the college's official website. There are reserved seats for special categories. The process takes much time, so colleges should take a steps in this.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because computers will run the future world, so I want to learn it deeply. In our department, we have more than enough faculty members. Teachers and non-teaching staffs are very good at their work. The teachers not only teach us, but they guide us for our future also. We got enough time between semesters but if one is not consistent then it is difficult to pass examinations.
Placement Experience
College campusing is not too good but average. But college prepares us fully with modern market demand so we can easily opt for off-campus jobs. The package averages is around 250000 - 300000 per annum. After getting my degree I will continue my higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are a little bit higher than compared to other colleges. But it gives us many lab technologies so it deserves the higher fees. The scholarship procedure is moderate and the same as the other colleges in West Bengal. There is swami Vivekananda merit cum scholarships. But campusing should be better.
Campus Life
Campus Life is too good. We have many fests. Full one month for freshers of many departments. In November - December we have Winter Carnival. College also arranges a food festival named 'Posto Theke Pasta'. The Student Union every year arranges tournaments in Badminton, Football, and Cricket.
Other Applied Colleges
Siliguri College | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Computer Science)
Asutosh College is better than that college.
