Remarks
Eligibility for the Batchelor of Technology Course is Senior Secondary (10+2) with a minimum of 60% marks in 12th. The admission in IERT Prayagraj is done on the basis of marks obtained in JEE Mains examination conducted by NTA twice in a year. UPTAC Counseling is conducted by AKTU Lucknow for college allotment. A separate application is invited by AKTU Lucknow for counseling and branch allotment is done on the basis of JEE Mains merit. The whole counseling process is online followed by physical reporting by candidates for document verification. There is a 27% OBC reservation in the seats and there is a reservation for candidates belonging to SC and ST and there is an EWS Quota for students of Economically Weaker Sections.
Course Curriculum Overview
Technology fascinates me so I decided to Pursue a Bachelor of Technology. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:60. The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced and helpful to students and they try to adopt modern methods for teaching and are available for doubts students. The semester exams are conducted by AKTU Lucknow.
Placement Experience
After the 7th-semester students are eligible for campus placement Major companies which recruit are Adani Group, Amazon India, Cheetu Inc, and Prayagraj Power Pvt Ltd. There is a good number of students who qualify for GATE and join PSUs or pursue higher education in the field. Nearly 60% of students are placed. I want to continue my higher education.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is decided by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and there is a Scholarship and fee reimbursement facility provided by the Government of Uttar Pradesh for students whose family income is less than 2.5 Lakh. There are various scholarships for girl students provided by the Union and State Governments.
Campus Life
Various events are conducted throughout the year, some of them are- 1. Udbhav (Annual Cultural Event). 2. Technovation (Annual Technical Fest). 3. Winter Sports Event 4. Zonal Sports Competition There are various clubs such as 1. GDSC(Google developer students club) in collaboration with Google 2. Online coding competition(inter-college). Classrooms are well equipped with green boards, fans, windows with a net, and well-lit classes.
