Remarks

Eligibility of course is after the 12th from the science stream. At my time entrance exam was UPSEEE but now it is CUET-UG. Admission to this college can be done through the entrance and direct also. The application form is out in February-march and the exam is conducted during mid May or June Reservation regarding caste is valid and also for E.W.S Certificate holders.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose this course because it is a demanding profession in the healthcare field. The curriculum of this course will help you to understand the common and deep causes of diseases and also you will learn about the management of These diseases, also how a hospital is run or hospital management. The faculty here in the college is good and most faculty are Well Qualified up to Ph. D and above. The teaching methods of the faculty are simple and effective, they also provide elaborated notes as well as short notes for some topics. Term exams of college are held monthly and university exams are held at 6 months Exams are Moderately difficult and can be Cleared by understanding concepts.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees can be negotiable at the admission starting months. And can be concluded at a reasonable amount. Fees once decided will not be increased yearly examination fees is to be submitted by the student at the university site. The scholarship is to be filed in the first semester of every year and students get a considerable amount per year from the samaj kalyan vibhag which is government-funded organization.

Campus Life

5

Overall college life is good and exciting, many college events are held every 3 to 4 months and students also get awarded certificates and medals, sports events such as AKTU ZONAL, and naval ( college sports event) are also held Our college library is well established and contains lots of beneficial books and journals as well as weekly magazines related to the pharmacy field are also available in the library, the college library is well furnished and also has free unlimited wifi and A. C. Vents are also installed. There is no such social group or club created by students.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel rooms are double seater and triple seater, consisting of 1 bed, 1 wall Almira, 1 study table, and 1 chair for each student. Students can also opt for A.C. which are more expensive than normal rooms but are not worthy enough. Meal quality is not so good and no good menu is implemented or changed. Despite lots of complaint food quality is not improved over the years and also many students get ill every month. The registration process for the hostel will be done at the time of admission, Firstly they will take you for a visit to the hospital and then reserve the room after confirmation. Most of the rooms are nearby the college and the preferable locality is ATIF VIHAR COLONY, NEAR BBD. Or Dayal residency few steps ahead.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are average, not very high but some companies do visit every year. Students become eligible for placements from final year, mostly from 7th or 8th semester. Companies are not very big mostly local or mid level pharma companies come. Some roles offered are like production, quality control and marketing. Highest package is not very high, around 3-4 LPA and average package is around 2-2.5 LPA. Percentage of students getting placement is not very high, maybe around 40-50% approx. Many students prefer to go for higher studies or try off campus jobs. My plan after completing degree is to look for job in pharma field or maybe go for higher studies depending on opportunity. Overall placement is okay but needs improvement.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is average, not very high but also not too bad. Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. Some companies visit the college but not many big companies comes regularly. Companies like small pharma companies and local companies visit and offer roles like production, quality control and sales. The highest package is around 3–4 LPA and average package is about 2–2.5 LPA. Number of offers is also limited and not all students get placed. Around 30-40% students get placement from campus, rest students have to search job on their own or go for higher studies. College gives some support but not very strong placement help. Because of this, many students including me are planning for higher studies or preparing for competitive exams to get better opportunities. Overall placement is okay but need improvement.
