Remarks

The seniors were really supportive and always enthusiastic for any event/ cause which IIMS,Pune was involved with. They participated actively in campus initiatives and helped students in placements as well in their network/ organizations. We also have a dedicated Alumni fund which is used for student welfare activities and timely contributions are made from seniors/ alums in this regard.

Entrance Preview

I gave CAT in 2014 and scored 96.2 percentile. I chose International institute of management studies,Pune over other IIMS because it was nearest to Pune and I thought I would get to build the institute from scratch as ours was the 3rd batch.i will recommendthis institute to every new student.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is flexible in terms of learning and involves projects , presentations and research papers. It gives students knowledge and first hand experience of competitive environment outside college boundaries. Students are given chances to participate in various research and development activities in and outside the campus.

Placement Experience

Placements are good we have training and placement cell operating in the college which continuously keeps a track on the companies. Many big companies like citi bank, mercedes benz, v.i.p happy journey. About 20,000 to 25000 they are giving and they focuses more on selecting the good quality of students who are talented and stable according to their requirements also.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms were great but they were still in a manageable condition, having basic furniture and had enough space for one person to live comfortably. Mess food and sitting area was really good. Much better than many other campuses I've went to. Apart from rooms and mess area, our hostel had Volleyball area and etc.

Faculty

Faculty and academics were really good. We used to have visiting faculties from other IIMS and foreign B-Schools as well to teach us specialized courses. Our core faculty also had a rich industry as well as academic experience with a rich research background. Overall the experience was great in terms of learning.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

My college experience

I was selected in this college by telephonic interview as I took admission when covid was at the peak. I was suggested by a friend to take admission here because he said by just spending 7 lakh or stuff he got a package of 12 lakh and is placed with Byjus. He said the college has a nice environment, brilliant professors, everybody is supporting students from the date of admission till they are placed. I was very happy listening to something which was true and which is reality. Because everybody out there just needs your admission by being influenced through brokers and all which is fake but as I heard my friend I applied for this college, I was selected and I'm really really happy with the quality of knowledge that they provide. 100% of placement with good companies

The positive remark would be the placement as because at the end of the day it’s all about your placement and packages. So, yeah in this field i think you can not get the best out of it. As i have seen many of the colleges which actually tells u that we give 100% placements and all but at last they fail to but this is not in my college.
