Remarks

You have to give jee mains and then jee advanced exam. It is conducted by nta and you can find the form on nta.jeemains.nic.in. The application fee for mains is somewhere around 1800. Reservation for different castes is theirs and girl reservation is also theirs.

Course Curriculum Overview

I got into this college on the basis of my jee rank. I didn't have any prior knowledge about this course. You can take any branch in top iits and do coding to get placed. The faculty here is highly qualified and helpful. The class size is about 85 and in the second year, you have a branch course. You have to give mid-sem and end-sem exams and quizzes depending on prof.

Internships Opportunities

Companies in different fields provide internships. Software, consultancy, quant, machine learning, core, and many others. The stipend depends on the profile you are applying for. Some give around 1lakh for a month some around 5 lahks and some around 60000 also. You will get projects under profs here and under different clubs also.

Placement Experience

After 4th semester you will get an internship and after 7th semester you will seat for placement. The average package is around 19 lakh per annum. The highest package is around 2 crore. Around 90% of students placed and remaining opt for higher studies. I should take the placement. Almost every company visits our institute.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee here is around 105000 and the hostel and mess fee is around 22000. You can get a scholarship easily. Institute provides scholarships for Sc/St students and to them also whose family income is below 5 lacs. You can get an MCM scholarship based on your cpi. During the start of your 5th semester, you may appear for an internship. The average package here is 19 lakh per annum.

Campus Life

Three main rest organized by the student body, antaragini, udghosh and techkriti. Timing depends on available dates. The library is well equipped with books. Classrooms are well maintained. You will get many opportunities in clubs also. You will get every club of your interest here. You can play any sports you want and there is a couch for every sport.

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats.
