I have passed my MAT entrance examination in he year 2010. I had chosen this college because they have excellent exposure in the Indian job market and besides these the faculty of this college are mostly from Indian corporates and they have vast experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is highly concentrated on your domain, leads to a lot of core competency in related to your sector. However, business acumen, problem solving skills are not focused on. Unlike most business schools where curriculum is pivoted around case studies. The main mode of teaching in IIMS is classroom lectures & Power point.

Placement Experience

College is able to provide ample placement and job opportunities to the students. Also, college focuses on both on the quantity and the quality of jobs i.e. they are concerned about the packages, companies, profile etc. Though college focuses on domain specific courses but it has not able to create enough market demand for the same.

Campus Life

Campus life is peaceful as it is situated far from the populated city, beneath the foothills of great Hills. It is at a peaceful & highly picturesque place. Every students heart would always belong to the campus. Student from diverse backgrounds from pan India & even in exchange students from abroad study here.

Faculty

The college has hired some of the most experienced professionals in the Indian power Industry & teachers with specialisation in power industry. Also, guest lectures are conducted at regular intervals in the college, wherein people across the industry value chain from generation, transmission & distribution as well as ministry, trading , financing, & consulting are invited for interactions with student.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

My college experience

I was selected in this college by telephonic interview as I took admission when covid was at the peak. I was suggested by a friend to take admission here because he said by just spending 7 lakh or stuff he got a package of 12 lakh and is placed with Byjus. He said the college has a nice environment, brilliant professors, everybody is supporting students from the date of admission till they are placed. I was very happy listening to something which was true and which is reality. Because everybody out there just needs your admission by being influenced through brokers and all which is fake but as I heard my friend I applied for this college, I was selected and I'm really really happy with the quality of knowledge that they provide. 100% of placement with good companies

The positive remark would be the placement as because at the end of the day it’s all about your placement and packages. So, yeah in this field i think you can not get the best out of it. As i have seen many of the colleges which actually tells u that we give 100% placements and all but at last they fail to but this is not in my college.
