Entrance Preview

CAT score as the qualifying criteria followed by Interview. I chose IIMS as being an Management lover by profession, I wanted to leverage those skills as well, hence went for PGDM. I had a passion for Energy Industry since I feel it is industry which is always in demand Interview mostly test on motivation to join college, why domain specific MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is rigorously reviewed by the academic committee which has been placed specifically for this, and the end product makes you want to learn even more, apart from making you an expert in said area. Research is top notch and only quality journals are considered for publishing. And students and teachers are constantly encouraged to follow this and has been implemented successfully.

Campus Life

Both boys and girls here have enjoyed the IIMS lifestyle and safety has never been an issue here, vigilant security guards make life simple for all. Student diversity includes from north, south to east and west, people of all culture live harmoniously and blend, and knowledge is nurtured.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are mostly three bed rooms but now there are two bed and even one bed rooms with or without air conditioning, the quality of mattress, and related in the room are satisfactory and I have never heard anyone complain about the quality of living in these hostels.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Faculty

Every faculty who taught me over the period of two years was a PhD. They have immense knowledge base. But then teaching is an art. Majority of the faculty members are well experienced and their delivery capability is awesome. Barring one or two people, who also were not short on knowledge but imparting it, you can expect very good faculty members.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I was selected in this college by telephonic interview as I took admission when covid was at the peak. I was suggested by a friend to take admission here because he said by just spending 7 lakh or stuff he got a package of 12 lakh and is placed with Byjus. He said the college has a nice environment, brilliant professors, everybody is supporting students from the date of admission till they are placed. I was very happy listening to something which was true and which is reality. Because everybody out there just needs your admission by being influenced through brokers and all which is fake but as I heard my friend I applied for this college, I was selected and I'm really really happy with the quality of knowledge that they provide. 100% of placement with good companies

The positive remark would be the placement as because at the end of the day it’s all about your placement and packages. So, yeah in this field i think you can not get the best out of it. As i have seen many of the colleges which actually tells u that we give 100% placements and all but at last they fail to but this is not in my college.
