For getting admission we just have to submit aur board marks and jee mains score. There is no entrance test. Nah, I don't think there is a reservation available at the university. As the admission process is simple like First come first serve. once the no. If seats are full there won't be any admission anymore. so if you want to get admission then buckle up. And apply quickly. You can apply through the website or you can visit their offline office. everything is smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have choosen this courses because I want to become full time software engineer as in coming generations it will be an excellent field will tremendous amount of growth. The is an ample amount of faculty available to the student as Students can share any of their problems and the faculty gives their best to solve the problem for the student. Many of the professors who teach in the classes have done their Ph.D. Exams are scheduled here after every 15-20 days. It becomes hard to prepare for that exam as After one exam another is ready. there is a lack of time to prepare for the exam. This is a major problem here, besides this everything is great.
Internships Opportunities
University provides ample opportunities for full-time internships and on-the-job training in reputed companies like Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Infosys, and WIPRO. Some roles are managing social media and emails, performing clerical duties, and research.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester students becomes eligible for campus placement, as Students get offers of internship from the 6th semester. Every year 95%-100% of students have placed at chitkara University. Last year the highest package was 45 LPA. The average package is between 5.5 to 7.5 LPA. The student's lowest package is 3.5 LPA. There are numerous firms in the top recruiters such as Infosys, Wipro, Adobe, and many more.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is ok. There is an academic fee of for a B.E CSE student is 82000 which we have to pay per semester, and academic fees remain constant per year. And if you are going to avail of the option of a hostel then you have given 56,500 or 50,500 regarding the size of the hostel.
Campus Life
There is no fest in the university. But University organizes a DJ night to cheer up students' morale every month and to give them a bit of a joyful moment. University also regularly/monthly organizes sponsored hackathons by various big fintech of industries to enhance the problem-solving skills of the students and to be good at it. There are many societies formed at chitkara University which also help to develop a student's personality and overall growth. For example, there is a society for coders, a society for drama, there is a society for management.
