Remarks

The eligibility for MBBS in India is passing the NEET UG exam. For that, a student must be 17 years or more of age and must have passed their 12th standard with biology as the main subject. The cutoff score to qualify for admission to MBBS varies every year. The course is of 4.5 years and 1-year compulsory rotatory internship.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

As known all over the world, MBBS is one of the toughest yet most prestigious courses in the world. To become a doctor and practice medicine, this course is a must. In Heritage IMS, there is a wide range of opportunities to learn and heal patients at the same time. The faculty-to-student ratio is quite justified. Above all, the instruments, cadavers, practical halls, and the hospital gives a sharp edge to one's learning process. Overall there are 9 semesters, each of 6 months. Not only education, but the institute carves discipline of human in every student.

Internships Opportunities

5

There is a year of compulsory rotatory internship after the completion of the course. The interns are posted in different departments for some time and the roster rotation continues. The stipend is decided by the government. During this, future doctors get opportunities to learn and practice the basics of treatment, and procedures performed during an emergency, work under highly qualified doctors, interact with patients, and a lot more.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the institute is decided by the Government. The hostel fee varies from the type of mess a student opts for. All the costs are reasonable. However, the institute does not provide any scholarships or financial assistance.

Campus Life

5

As we all know the social life of a doctor is spoiled. However, there is a student committee on campus. The committee consists of social and cultural pillars, literary pillars, sports pillars, and food and treasure pillars. Once a year, the institute organizes a college fest known as Panacea including participation in every possible field.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel is within the campus, 50 steps from the college building. The college building, hospital, boys' hostel, and girls' hostel lie within a radius of 100 meters. The mess fee is included in the hostel fee. There are 4 messes in total. One each in boys' and girls' hostels, hospitals, and college buildings. The food served is of the best quality. The menu is made keeping in mind that the students take admission from all over the country.

The curriculum prepares us for the real time management of the patient illness. If we talk about the difficulty of the curriculum, so yes it is difficult but just it needs consistency and nothing. It prepares us for dealing with the real world by understanding the patients.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The profession I'm in is medical. The toughest of all. As from the starting I wished to be a doctor. The one who is second to a God. The one who is respected the most. The one who does the most prestigious job. As per the curriculum we have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years plus we have to attend the clinical posting in hospital , which exposes us to real world. The posting time is the time given to students from second year till year last. Improvement can be done in passing the exam part which is 50% in each subject. It can be 40 % marks. Currently I've given my MBBS second year which was hectic because of the vast syllabus. We have total of 5.5 year course for an undergraduate degree. Out of which 4.5 years is about studies rest one year is internship in hospital. We have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years. The mbbs course is very lengthy. Each and every subject is very vast. So we have to study maximum time. So all the very best those who aspire to be a great doctor
