Chitkara University (Business or what!)

Suppose you want to be admitted to our college. you need to pass the 12th standard and should have money on time. Our college follows Due Dates very strictly and also puts a fine on you for any delay. application forms for application are available on the college's official site www.chitkara.edu.in.

I opt for this college obviously because I didn't clear my JEE MAINS. It's a private college. what you will expect about the faculty: student ratio, like obvious student booming everywhere. There is about 2000+ student in BTECH CSE 2nd year, the campus is overcrowded, and there is a long line in a mess, in tuckshops, at the main gate of the university, and even for going to classes also. and the worst part is when you get comfortable with this many students. BOOM! THEY BRING MORE STUDENTS! yes, there is 3000+ student in 1st year(I am currently in 2nd year). they don't even have hostels for these many students. they sent us (2nd-year students) home in October and started our online classes for the 4th semester (Today's date is 21 Nov 2022 . and we are having offline ETE of 3sem from 2Dec to 12Dec,2022 with a 1day gap between each paper.).so that they can make space for 1year students. We are currently The administrator doesn't even know how to handle a semester properly.

There is many paid internship as well as non-paid internship. But in the crowd of 2500+ students, you need to be a little extraordinary for getting those opportunities. and I am currently in 3rd semester so I don't know much about placement and internship currently.

It was pretty good before as compared to other private colleges of 3-tier. but it is degrading each year now. They are not running a college but doing business. if you want a better package you need to study on your own obviously you can take the help of some faculty (Not all faculty is great here).

They don't provide any scholarships. But you can apply for any government scholarships. I am in BTech CSE 2nd year and my college fee per semester is 82,000 rupees. and my hostel fee for 4 seater room in 55,000 rupee(Not including security fee,mess and laundry fee)

the college looks clean! yes, the college maintains cleanliness pretty well. But at the same time, our campus is overcrowded. you literally can't buy tea from square one(our expensive canteen) during the afternoon. because the place is overcrowded. if you are an introverted type of person then it is a living-in-hell type of situation. There is a club on every topic in our college, you can join them according to your preference. There is 3 basketball court, 1 volleyball, 1 for skating and 5-6 indoor badminton and other some for indoor and outdoor activity. The college gym is pretty decent, but overcrowded at the same time.

They don't have Rooms for Students! There are 2000+ students in 2nd year of CSE(I am one of those), and they sent us home so that they can bring 3000+ students of 1 year CSE. There is 9-10 hostel on our campus, and they are making more hostels after the wave of 3000+ student in 1st year. we are currently in our 3 semester and doing online classes for 4th semester subject like the hell! and after online classes, they are taking offline End Term exams for 3semester with a 1-day gap between each exam! (we have a total of 6 subjects DSA, MATHS, DBMS, TOC, AI, and Cyber Security) and don't forget we are studying our 4th-semester subjects in our online classes before the ETE of our 3rd semester.
