Review of my college

The admission process of our college is easy and simple as there will be a guide for getting admission to college. The information regarding the application form, application fees and application dates are all shown on the official website of the college. the official website is kalasalingam.ac.in this website will provide all the details regarding the overall structure of the application of students. As of now, I think there are no Reservation Benefits provided by the college to students. But colleges will provide many scholarships for students and also colleges will accept the rank of jee mains for the concession of the fee based on state entrances examination also colleges will provide concessions for the students like 50%,75%,90% and even 100% too. coming to Eligibility, of course, is applicable as if a student wants to get admission in Computer Science with a Specialization course then he/she must get a minimum percentage in Maths, Phys, Chem i.e., above 80% for eligibility. No improvement I want to see in the admission process.

The course curriculum is developed in a good manner as students can learn many skills every semester. Faculty members are friendly with students as they will help students at any time. I have selected Computer Science Engineering with a specialization course in Artificial Intelligence which is in collaboration with IBM. As I have chosen the CSE AIML course because my dream is to become Data Scientist. coming to the ratio between the faculty and students in our college is around 1:24. Qualification of the faculty is good as many of the faculty have completed their PhD and also many of them have multiple degrees. In point of me, the way of teaching method is should be changed as they go around only theory but actually students require a practical way of learning. rest of all is good regarding the teaching method of the faculty. Now coming to how often our terms exam will be held is like around 1 and 1/2 months to 2 months. Passing the subject is so easy as 50% is internal and the remaining 50% is external.

The fee structure is good when compared to other deemed universities which are easily affordable by the middle-class family. the opportunity for scholarships is high as many of the students will get scholarships and also students can get fee concession with their JEE mains exam results. Around 80-85 % will get campus jobs every year with a decent package.

Symposium, mirth is the annual event which is conducted by the school of computing every year. tech fest like vintra which is recently held and monthly they will conduct some fest regarding tech and also cultural fests. The availability of books is high as our college library is big with a high number of books. classrooms are good with projectors. sports and extracurricular activities on the campus are above average as the indoor complex is small. clubs like pyrous, youth red cross club etc. website for students run by students are oss kalsalingam university regarding technical projects.
