Remarks
Eligibility of course is you should have PCM(Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) in class 12. The process of admission is through RPET and is also based on your 12-grade marks. The RPET form can be found on the website. The application is Rs.700 and the date of filling is March 2022. There may be benefits of reservation in case of course fees.
Course Curriculum Overview
For almost 4-5years government jobs in civil engineering were at their peak. The faculty-student is 1 faculty for 50-60 students for my branch, this may vary for other branches. The qualification of faculty was generally M.tech/B.tech at that but now it may be changed. There were also some faculties that have P.h. D degrees. The exam was taken in 2-3 months and was moderate to pass.
Internships Opportunities
The one I remember of the company was Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation(Jmrc) and there was no stipend given to the students. The project's name was Jaipur Metro Rail and I didn't remember the task because did not opt for this internship. There can be companies in other branches which may offer internships.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible at the end of the third year for the placements. Companies like TATA, Mittsure ,IBM and amazon visited. As I have already mentioned I didn't attend any placements drive because I wanted to be in a government job. The average package in the last two years is 6Lpa and the highest was 12Lpa. I did'nt remember about the percentage but I can say there were opportunties for each and every students. Plans after getting the degree was to get selected for goverment jobs in my field.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees were paid Rs.35000/ semester and if you get marks over 80 percent in the university exam you will get scholarships according to the marks category. I choose government jobs and did not take any placements but there were placements with an LPA of approx 2.5.
Campus Life
The annual fests were Echoes and Korona, they take place in the month of November and September respectively. The library was good and the availability of subject books and newspapers in various languages was also good. The atmosphere of both the classroom and library was good and provided with ducting. The labs are provided with all the equipment required. The activities of sports happen in the month of February for a week, which includes almost all the games like football, chess, basketball, carrom badminton, and squash, etc. I didn't remember any groups but I am suely confident that there are some groups run by students.
