Remarks
There was an entrance exam named the 'EAMCET' exam which is mandatory for those who need to do engineering in Andhra Pradesh. I have written the entrance exam and within a month I got the result. The qualification is not based on cut-off marks but it gives the ranks to those who write according to their marks. I got an 11000 rank in the entrance exam. There was a procedure to choose the college for AP. First, we need to keep like 20 options regarding which college you need. In that, they will give you a college according to rank. If we haven't got any college then that means the colleges which we opted for are filled. There is a total of 2 times it happens. Then in the first attempt, I got into the Godavari Institute of technology in Rajahmundry which is far away from my place, and in the second attempt, I got into Sagi Ramakrishna's Raju engineering college in bhimavaram. I haven't got any reservation benefits. But for those whose parents are not government job holders they are having reimbursement like half the few is reduced.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose information technology as my branch. I always love working with computers and much interested to know about The network. The faculty members of my branch are very dedicated to their work and they used to thought the subject in a friendly way. We used to have the most experienced faculty in our department who used thought in a practical way and made us understand the subject more easily. All the faculty members are mostly Ph. d holders and M. Tech holders. We had a total of 6 theoretical exams and 5-6 practical exams in a year. The year is divided into 2 semesters and each semester had 2 assessments with 2 months of gap and 2-3 practical exams after those, we used have our semester exams.
Internships Opportunities
Infosys offered internships for those who were selected for placements and they offered to stay on their campus for free and gave 15000 as a stipend. I have done a project in Infosys-related stocks using java, and angular js. In college, I have done a project in python and another in Android.
Placement Experience
After 3rd year everyone who had no backlogs is eligible for placements. Companies visited are TCS, Infosys, Wiped, Accenture, Mind tree, Cap Gemini, and some others. I got placed in Infosys and I went to internships that were offered by Infosys for us as internships in the month of January during my second semester. After that, I went to Infosys Mysore for my internship and returned back in May for my final exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college is a private college affiliated with Andhra university during my studies over there. The fee structure is like 66486/- per year and the college miscellaneous fees used to be 12640/-. It provides reimbursement where the fee will be half for those parents who are not having a government job and if any candidate has an Eamcet rank of less than 10000 then he is eligible for no college fee and needs to pay only 12640/-.
Campus Life
We used to have both an annual feat and tech fest in our college where the tech fest will be in Jan or Feb month and the annual fest used to be in April. We used to have a big library where we had all types of books and we also had a digital library on our campus. Every student needs to register in NCC as part of the curriculum and we do have many indoor and outdoor games and we had stadiums for those as well. Many games are conducted by the college for different occasions. We had a college website and many social groups on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. We are having ideas hub where the latest technologies are thought.
