Remarks

Students can took admission Based on admission test. Based on test students can get scholarship.Based on inter marks also students can get scholarship. Application can be find in the University website and we can also get application in nearest admission office. No improvement needed. All are fine.

Course Curriculum Overview

A computer science engineering students get interesting challenges and opportunities to learn new skills. A computer engineer gets an oppurtunity to work in multi disciplines including AI, robotics etc. So students can get placed in multinational companies. So I chosen CSE. Students to Faculty ratio is about 10:1. All the faculties are highly qualified with PhDs, doctorates, etc and teaching is also so good. There will be 2 unit tests and 2 mid-tests. If we study and listen to classes we can easily write exams.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 145000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Students are offered many foreign Internships. There are intimated to students via mail. Students can also get internships in top companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc. Students can do research and projects with Faculty help.

Placement Experience

4.5

By end of the 6th Semester, students can eligible for placements. Companies like Zoho, virtuosa, Cap Gemini, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, and many more visits the college. The total number of students placed this year is 1001 and still going on. The highest package offered was 20lpa and the average is 6lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee for CSE students is about 250000 without a scholarship. The cost to study is not that much more. Students can get different percentages of scholarships Based on the admission test and Inter marks. There will be financial assistance for students who lost their fathers. Students can foreign Internships in big universities and companies with stipends.

Campus Life

The annual fest conducted in the college is Lavaza. There will be many tech Fests also conducted. Lavaza will be conducted in February month. There are so many books in libraries. There will be separate libraries for each department. Classes are facilitated with round tables and projectors. Sports like cricket, kabaddi, and many more are offered. Clubs like NSS, NCC, and UBA are provided.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Before admitting in Vel Tech, I've applied in Quaid E Millath, Queen Mary's College, Nandanam Arts college, Presidency college.I chose Veltech over these because It helps me financially and academically.Even though i had less marks Veltech admitted me. Yes I did get a rejection from other colleges due to my less performance in 12th Standard. It happened because of my medical issues.
