A brief information of Jec Jabalpur

First of all, you have to appear for jee main examination and the required percentile for OBC and general is above 90+ to take admission in top branches like CSE, IT, ECE and AI & DS. Then you have to appear in MPDTE counselling and if you have to be allotted with JEC Jabalpur, then you have to appear in college with the required documents.

I have enrolled in a four-year Btech course in Ai and DS, I have chosen the branch as it is in its developing stage and has very scope in future. There is a lack of Teachers in this college so you have to work and study yourself with guidance from teachers, teachers are highly qualified and specialized in their respective fields, mid-semester happens every 3 months and the end of the semester in every 6 months.

There are many clubs which get you ready for internships, there is much time you get free during four years in that you can apply and try for different internships and learn skills according to your interest. There is no such record of placement offered by the college you have to try it yourself.

This college has decent placements better than private colleges. A student can get PPOs (pre-placement offers)in their 3rd or 4th year if they are focusing on their resume and knowledge building. Last year its highest package was Rs.52 lakhs off campus and has an average package of 3 lakhs.

This is one of the most affordable colleges in India. It costs Rs.13679 for general category students per semester and Rs.2719 for OBC and SC and ST students per semester. There are many scholarship programs run by the government to benefit the needy such as MMVY and MPTASS.

As it is one of oldest colleges in India and oldest in central India, its infrastructure is old as a college so, it's college building doesn't fascinate anyone. There are many fests organized every year for the overall development of students such as the 'HACKTOBER' fest for hackers happens every year in October. It has one of the biggest libraries in central India consisting of 5000 books. There are various clubs including technical clubs and non-technical clubs such as dance clubs, singing clubs, art clubs and literature clubs all run by students.

There are two hostels provided by the college for 1st-year students each consisting of 100 students, one has to submit documents in college in the Department of hostels with the required documents and affidavit. There are messes attached to the hostel with decent food quality and also have facilities of tiffin boxes. The hostel contains 24×7 electricity facilities, two chairs, two study tables in a room and two almirahs.
