I took admitted in the year 2019 and during that time Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology used conducted an entrance exam called Malaviyan Entrance Test (MET). The application form was easily available on the college website which is mmmut.ac.in application fees of approx 500 and the dates of the admission form were march and April. The seats in this college are reserved as per your caste reservations a proper amount of seats are there for all categories and also for the freedom fighter category and also there is a fee waiver category for students who scored a good MET rank. No, the admission process is quite smooth. Now the college has shifted to Jee-Mains rank for the criteria of admission.

I chose this course because I wanted to g into the government sector and I thought civil would be the best option I also was a little curious to know about buildings, bridges etc. The faculty-student ratio is quite good we have permanent faculty as well as guest faculty and also PhD scholars for students. Talking about civil faculty it is highly educated from good colleges and some are from mmmut itself and we also have the most experienced as well the most knowledgeable faculty in mmmut civil branch. We have two exams each semester named minor and major which are not so easy to pass nor are they too difficult you need a good amount of study to pass them

Amazon wow internship was available for coding students which gave a stipend of approx 60000. Internships at national highways were also available for an approx stipend of 5000. various other internship opportunities are availale for different fields

Being a government college fees is quite high than expected but the hostel fees are good and can be afforded easily by a normal student. The scholarship availed in college is the UP government scholarship for students whose parents' annual income is fewer than 2lakhs and some other govt. scholarships can also be availed by students as per their knowledge and need. The placement rate of my was 100% last year this year the placements are still going on and I haven't applied for any company so I got no job

The annual fest conducted by the cultural society of my college is named ABHYUDAYA in which students from various other colleges and schools participate its safest of 3 days which includes DJ night, fashion show, comedy night etc. The technical fest conducted is called Tech-Srijan which includes various tech-related events like Robo-war and many other side events for a fun activity, the students are taught to make robots during robotic classes which are conducted free for more than a month. Various types of books are available in the library of fields fiction non-fiction students usually issue books from the library for their semesters. The classrooms have proper arrangement of boards and also have projectors for teachers to teach and to for presentation purposes. MMMUT also conducts a sports fest called AYAAS in which students from different colleges participate. There are various societies conducted by students like cultural, sports branch societies etc.

The rooms are not of good quality not very lavish to live in and 3 students have to stay in 2 seater room sharing the almirahs and all. Mess food is just fine like it's edible neither too tasty nor too bland. There is online registration for hostels and hostels are availed mostly to students who do not belong to the same city i.e Gorakhpur. Renting a room or PG would have cost me more comparatively
