DECENT COLLEGE FOR A DECENT STUDENT.

Admissions are based on JEE Mains ranks. You can find the application form on IPU official site. Also, watch YouTube for updates and guidelines. Application form fees is 1000rs.(2021). The admission process for IPU starts 1 month after JEE Mains results. For general (home state) it goes to 85k (in 3rd round) For general( out of Delhi) it goes to 62k(3rd round). Reservations are available for OBC, SC,ST,PWD, Defence,EWS. There is a reservation for girls also. As I mentioned earlier home state candidates are preferred in reservation also. For STs required ranks go as low as 5Lakh(in round 3).

FACULTY TO STUDENT RATIO is pretty good. All of the teachers are very well qualified. Doubt-solving is good. Guidance is available both from teachers and seniors. Exams are conducted twice a semester. MIDTERM exams are easy u can score good marks with a week of preparation. INTERNAL marking is awesome. Out of 30 most are 25 or above. You just need to care for the END TERM EXAM. Prepare for 3 weeks, with the previous year's solved problems. Previous year questions repeat very very frequently.

From the 6th semester, you become eligible for placements. On campus, placement is offered to almost everyone. Almost all companies come to MSIT. Famous MNCs like Amazon, Google, etc. Offer the highest packages they are offered in a small no. ( 2-3 ). Most of the packages range from 8LPA to 15LPA. Placement is 100 percent almost. You can also apply for govt. Exams after completing your degree. At last, I can say as a moderate student, MSIT is a very good college with decent placement records.

The fee structure is decent Not very high not very low. BUT scholarships are available by govt. Everyone gets a scholarship u just need to apply and keep yourself updated. U need to submit fees on your own first, then submit the receipt to govt. They will transfer some amount of money to your account directly. NFSC card is helpful.

Extra curriculum activities are very prevalent in MSIT. there are many many societies which you can join. Debating society, Google developers society, Prakrit, etc. They organize events very frequently. You can see many events within a month. Books (related to the course) are provided by the college. Other than this you can issue whatever book you find relevant for you for a period of time. Sports are overshadowed by various other activities. You might not find many sports-related societies at MSIT. You can follow various societies on Instagram, and WhatsApp groups are available. They also come to classes to inform you about upcoming functions. You can join functions even when you are not a member of society.
