So all the admission formalities took place online in a good and efficient way. We got our registration number easily. After JOSAA and CSAB we have to wait for the notifications regarding the admission on the Institute's Official web site under the Notice section and proceed further according to the instructions given in that.

My Department is Metallurgical and Materials Engineering I chose this Course as I was not left with any better options than that. And Being in Jamshedpur I thought it would be a good options as It is an industrial Area and Many core Companies visits too for placements. The total strength of my batch is 115 out of which 93 are boys and 22 are girls so M/F is 4.5 which is almost the same in every department. Most of the faculties are PHD Holders either from IITs or from other reputed institutes. Semester exams are divided into two. MID Sem and END Sem Exams are of moderate level. One can easily score more than 7.0 SGPA .

Circuital branches have great internship opportunities but when it comes to core branches the internships are quite low. But if you work hard in any field you will get success. For meta students Tata Metalliks conduct exam every year for internship opportunity.

Placements are very good here. The main reason students join this college is placement. The overall placement percentage in 2021-22 was 97 percent with average package of ?14.72 LPA. Each department has a placement percentage above 90 and the highest package was offered to 4 students by atlassian of 80 LPA.

1 year tution fees without any remission is ?125000 If your family income is less than ?100000 you don't need to pay a single penny of the above mentioned tution fees. And if your family income is between 1Lac -5 Lacs you will get 2/3 rd remission of the tution fees. For SC / ST students Tution fees is waived off. Mess and hostel charges are to be paid by every student who are availing the facilities and the combined fees of 1 year is around ?64000

Campus life is not so good. The name of annual sports fest is "URJAA" and name of the cultural Fest name is "CULFEST", Since you are in jharkhand you will not face any difficulty in playing any sport you want. Sports culture is great here. Apart from that Infrastructure is improving day by day. The classes are held in newly built lecture Hall which is equipped with centralised A.C and many other facilities. There are various technical and cultural clubs doing good good at national level. NSS is also present along with SANKALP- which provides free education to the unprivileged children. TECHNICA is the biggest branch fest of the Institute belongs to the metallurgy department.

Hostel facilities are quite good When you enter the college as a fresher you are alloted the room in Hostel I with double occupancy. From second year i.e 3 rd sem you will get Single Occupancy room in the mega Hostels J and K. Girls get 3 occupancy in first 2 years than get double occupancy in last 2 years. Mess food is average and the quality of the food improves gradually.
