Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well designed for a good scope in research or for industry experience. I have studied electronics and communication and did my project at BSNL where I got to see what I learnt. My college also boasts about its great labs. For all the key subjects there are fully functioning labs with good lab assistants. VLSI, digital circuits, microprocessor, microwave etc.
Internships Opportunities
The college does not provide internship, but it is the responsibility of the student group to go for a mini internship in the second semester of third year. And a major internship or project at a notable company. The college's band value will help a student to grab the oppurunityNonetheless, the campus placements are very high. some students even get two to three placements.
Placement Experience

I, infact was a placement coordinator for the class. and there are ample opportunities for students. Again, it is the job of the student to cash the opportunity.
College Events
Technical events - Synapse ( for ECE). many GK tests, technical tests, paper presentations, working models etc are presented. Students get opportunity to get sponsors and also organize and participate. This gives them a great exposure and builds communication skills.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is transparent. For an electronics student it costs Rs 100000/- these days. But that is for OC students. Other category students might get funding. BC A/B/C, SC, ST students will get some money per year too on top of it. The fee structure is transparent and parents are put in the loop.

Scholarships are offered for backward castes as per Govt of India rules. Loans are easily available at all banks for moderate interests. Per year the course fees is 1 Lakh rupees.
Campus Life
Usually the male ratio is high. There are no on campus part time. there are no Teaching or Research Assistant jobs. But there are college festivals. Carpediem is considered one of the largest festival in South India is organized once every two years. There is less diversity, most of the people are from Telugu families.
Hostel Facilities
i have been to the boys hostel. it is clean and is 10 minute walk to college. THere is no girls hostel as of 2013, but there is a private girls college at 10 minute distance from college in front of ocean world. The mess food is alright. The canteen food

Yes, CBIT has a strong Alumni. Chaitanya Smruti, a student body takes care of all the alumni. It is a strong network, that meets on 25-Dec every year on the night called home coming.This is the best part about the college.
Exam Structure
