Remarks
Overall the college is very good and one of the most reputed colleges. The faculty and the infrastructure is good though canteen can be improved. Labs are well equipped but needed renovation back when I was a student. Professors are well educated though some may partial at times which is unavoidable at any institution.
Entrance Preview
Admission was on merit basis. I was interested in BA and hence opted for this course. And MITID was one of the good colleges overall and a good institute for the course I wanted. Since I completed my HIGHER studies from pune only , it was familiar and convenient for me.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is amazing. There is a hardcore focus on research and very little spoon feeding. You are trusted upon to get the best possible results for yourself and people are more or less there to help you out as much as you need them. A very extensive portion of the subject is covered in the curriculum.
Hostel Facilities
There are canteens at MITID Institute and are excellent. The food is available at a average rate. However, things have changed in the past years and as of now, a lot of brands sell their stuff out there and the old, lovely canteen people wish to stay longer there.
Faculty
On a large part the faculty is good. They are quite open and receiving and do not bring their conservative attitudes to the class. They do not make our decisions for us and never interfere in our personal lives. There are absolutely no impositions. The teachers are extremely well versed with their subject and heavily experienced.
