Students must pass 12th or equivalent from the state or Central board and have to attend the EAMCET exam conducted by Apache. The application forms, fees, and the detailed schedule was given on the website itself. It includes important dates like exam dates, result dates, counseling dates, etc. There is a reservation process in the counseling and the details of the candidate were been checked once he got an eligible rank in the EAMCET exam.

I chose Computer Science and Engineering course at VR Siddhartha Engineering College. Since it is an ongoing demand course for one individual and a leading course in the engineering stream where a lot of opportunities are there for students regarding placements and opting for higher studies. Faculty in our college was qualified and some senior faculties have experience of more than 10 years. The term exams were conducted often 6 weeks and the rate of difficulty is moderate.

Internships were being given to 3rd year and companies like Adobe, Amazon, and Microsoft gave internship opportunities to the students. For better internships or placements the resume must be very strong have to participate in hackathons and must visit other colleges for projects and some certifications.

Students become eligible from 3rd year and campus placements in our college were good. There are so many companies that visited our college last year including Amazon, Adobe, Microsoft, Cisco, Walmart, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Deloitte, and so on. The highest Packard offered was 44LPA by Amazon to 3 students and the average package was 6Lpa. In CSE almost all the students were placed on the campus itself.

For B.Tech the course fee was 66000 per annum. Almost for the four years it costs around 3 lakhs. The government of Andhra Pradesh provides complete fee reimbursement to all eligible students studying in colleges of AP.

Due to the Covid pandemic, the fests were started after 2 years. In our branch, We conducted a CIENCIA fest in May. In the central library, there are almost 70000 books and a digital library facility is also there. Classrooms are well maintained with digital mode for presentations benches and all. In the college, so many sports are being played and for each sport, there are separate nets and conditions, the college will provide kits and Balls for playing.

The hostel was provided in the campus for both boys and girls but for the 1st year boys students hostel was accomodated near Benz circle of 5 Km distance. From 2nd year they were accommodated in the campus hostel. The meal was good and different varieties have been given to students. For registration, we have to consult the hostel office located near the library. On the college campus, room was shared by 3 people. Each will have 3 fans,3 study tables, and Wi-Fi connectivity also provided to the students.
