Remarks
The eligibility of the course is that you should be 12th pass in any field. You can find application forms on the Delhi university site. When I took the admission there was no entrance test admission was on the basis of 12th standard marks and du cutoffs but now admission is on the basis of the common entrance test. Application fees were 200 and admission started around September and October. No, I don't want any improvement in the admission process it is very good and easy.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was really interested in travel and tourism so I found this course in the college of vocational studies and I opt for it. The faculty is good in all ways teachers help students every time, and classes happen regularly, but sometimes classes got canceled due to strikes and all. Qualification of the faculty is very good some teachers have done their masters then Ph.D. and whatnot. Exams happen twice a year that is one time in 1 semester and the second time in the second semester and it's easy to pass exams.
Placement Experience
Placement drives happen every year for third-year students. There are many travel companies that visited and provide offers. Some are SOTC. the highest package is about 7-8 lac and the average package is about 4-5 lac. In the tourism course, there is 100% placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are very minimal in 1st year the fee was 10150 and in 2nd-year the fee is 11750. There are many opportunities for jobs and internships. College provides placement opportunities in the third year. There is 100% placement in my course which is tourism management.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is just awesome there are many fests organized in our college. Every year in February an annual fest happens and some singers or celebs come to entertain us. If we talk about the availability of books there is a good library and a lot of books are available for students. Classrooms are not that good like the old building infrastructure is very poor but the new building classrooms is pretty good. There are many types of extra activities in our college like every sport and a lot of societies are active in student development. Clubs that are run by students are CARAVAN ( tourism society), COMSOC ( commerce society), etc.
