Course Curriculum Overview
Want to serve the needy people who cannot afford expensive treatment. Around 400 faculty teach 1000 students at MBBS. All faculty members are postgraduates in related departments. The teaching method is also very good. Exam Once in 6 months and easier to pass.
Internships Opportunities
University provides an Internship opportunity that is mandatory for 12 months and during this period we got a 12000 Rs stipend every month. During this period we get the opportunity to serve through PHC and the district government hospital inside Lucknow. And we have to adopt a family for one year and we have to take care of that family during this period.
Fees and Financial Aid
Around 25000 per annum for reserved category and for general category around 35000. Scholarship through up government whose annual income is below 250000. University also gives financial support to meritorious students who have done well in professional exams.
Campus Life
Annual fest that is RHAPSODY held in the month of October or November every year Nearly all books and also a few journals are also available in our central library. The classroom occupied well-maintained furniture, a projector, a good-quality speaker, and sounds. Annual sports, games like cricket football volleyball basketball sprint, etc are held every year in November and students can participate freely in various cultural events in our fest. There is Twitter handle @kgmu_medical and a website kgmu.org .social group for the annual fest named Rhapsody run by the students where all information is being updated by administrators.
Hostel Facilities
Except in the second year(one bedded) we got two bedded hostel room in which we got one cushion one almirah a table and a chair Mess is well hygienic and of course, our food quality is very delicious as compared to other hostels as we heard. For the hostel, once you got college along with the admission process you have to fill out hostel forms and once you got the hostel it will continue throughout your course. The hostel is easily affordable for students outside Lucknow and Lucknow students can also get hostels from the second year onwards. Almost all students reside in hostels.
