Remarks

To get admission to shiv Nadar University you need to write snus exam which is conducted by snu or you can apply through jee mains score. You need to have science (math is not compulsory if you had it is better) in your class 12 to opt for BSc. Chemistry. The admission process is so simple, you just need to write snusat and if you got a good score, they call you for an online interview. If you perform well in that, you will get an offer letter in your mail.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choose this course because chemistry is the subject that fascinated me and the chemistry that I learned in school was not enough for me. Snu has a pretty decent faculty-to-student ratio, in the chemistry department, it is about 1:3. Each and every faculty of the chemistry department has at least one post-doc. They are good at teaching as well. The exams and tests are a lit bit difficult compared to other universities' exams.

Internships Opportunities

5

The opportunities for an internship are really high at snu. There is something called 'opportunities for undergraduate research' in which students can work under a professor as a research assistant. Internship opportunities outside snu will be regularly notified to the students through the mail. students from snu got internship opportunities at IIT Kanpur, iisc Bangalore, and IIT Kharagpur with a decent stipend.

Placement Experience

5

Students are eligible for the placements from the 7th semester. since there is no placement for natural sciences, below I'm giving the details of engineering placement. The average package is around 10 to 12 lakhs. Since the placement is still going on I'm not sure about the highest package. The students who are going for the placements will mostly get placed and a handful of students opt for higher education in abroad. My plans after the degree is to go abroad and pursue PhD .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the school of natural sciences is about 13,00,000 for 4 years. If you are 95% and above in your 12th board, there are a lot of chances that you will get a scholarship. On campus, jobs are available in which you will be paid around 8000 per month, but the competition is high.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is amazing at snu. The campus is lively. Every year we will have a sports fest called surge which will be conducted in November and a cultural fest called the breeze which will be conducted in March. Snu has such a big library, you will find all the books related to your course. Name a book and you will find it here. The sports facilities are really good at snu. Snu has cricket, football, volleyball, table tennis, lawn tennis, badminton, football, golf horse riding, chess, etc. There are more than 30 clubs that are student-driven. 'Ecell' (ecellsnu.com)is one of the most engaging clubs of snu, which encourages entrepreneurship.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostels are comparatively Better than other universities. Here you will be provided with a bed, study table, chair, and almirah. Bedspreads and pillows are supposed to be brought by students. The food in the dining hall is average, sometimes it is not liked by students. Still, there are some places on the campus where you can get amazing food. Roti, rice, dal, subzi, and vegetable salad are regular foods. Hostel registration is done online during the admission process. Since it is a residential course, you have to stay inside snu to study in snu.

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges, and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...
