Why you should select IIITDMJ over any other college

For getting admission to pandit Dwarka Prasad Mishra Indian institute of information technology design and manufacturing Jabalpur MP, a person must appear in JEE i.e. joint entrance examination. As I recall about my admission process I appeared in jee in 2020 and scored a rank of 38000 through joint seat allocation counseling got IIITDMJ in my 4th round of counseling and after 6 rounds got mechanical engineering in IIITDMJ.

Honestly, mechanical engineering was not my first priority, but due to a few ranks, I wasn't able to clear the cut-off for the CSE branch. Overall the branch is excellent I got to learn a lot throughout the year. I won't say the courses are a piece of cake, if you want to get a good CPI you will have to study I mean it won't be enough to clear the exams with just a night of study. The faculties are great just they force you to maintain 75 percent attendance. Other than that all professors are great and very cooperative.

IIITDMJ has very splendid internship opportunities every year a lot of students apply for various internships and a lot are selected due to our great past records. Recently Amazon hired 40 + students for internship offering them a package of 48 lakhs and more.

IIITDMJ has a good placement record, year after year a lot more companies are coming up with very attractive offers. If I talk about recent offers big companies like Microsoft selected 40+ students for an internship opportunity and offered them a package of 48 lakhs.

The fee structure is approximately on the same level as other IITs, NITS, and IITS i.e. approximately 1 lakh per semester for general open category students. There are various scholarship opportunities for students for SC, and ST categories students there is a relaxation in tuition fees, and there is a special scholarship called MCM i.e. merit-based scholarship which is awarded to the top students of each batch regardless of their categories.

For me, I got the best campus Life one could expect for. There are various clubs in the college every type of clubs including technical clubs, cultural clubs, non-technical clubs, sports clubs, and many more. Various types of the fest are organized in the college. GUSTO is the fest for sports, every year inter iiit is organized, various technical fests are organized

IIIT JABALPUR is a fully residential college, which means every student has to stay in college hostels only, there are many hostels in college each hostel is given to a specific year student. Hostels are well equipped with spacious rooms and nice grassy lawns with canteen facilities in each hostel.
