One building of college is under construction . so there is some difficulty in parking and sports ground issue. But , they will be solved once the construction is complete. Now, coming to the management of college, the college management is very active and can be reached when required by the student or parent so , i will suggest everyone to go with this college if you are not getting good IIT and NIT and good government college

I gave the COMEDK entrance examination in the year 2015 and scored 110/180 and secured rank of 1450. With this rank, i was selected CSE in Bangalore institute of technology in 1st round of counselling, but in 2nd round, it was changed to ISE in BMSCE. As i was getting a branch with great opportunity in 2nd best college of Bangalore, i joined it without any hesitation.

The curriculum in bmsce is very good and is updated regularly to meet the demands of industry. The undergraduate curriculum emphasizes on theoretical and practical aspects of information science. The postgraduate curriculum provides expertise in the areas of computer networking and communication. The curriculum is designed to meet industry standard and cope with the fast changing technology. yes, some companies come in the month of may after the semester examination and hire intern after an test followed by an interview. stipend vary with the companies in the range of 4k to 20k or even more sometimes . e.g., Siemens, BOSCH, ZTE, oracle

The College has an exclusive Placement and Training Centre to facilitate on-campus Placement opportunities to the students. The Center has a professor in-charge of the activities. The fee structure for the comedk (outside karnataka ) student is approximately 195000 and around 190000 for home state students. For cet students, its around 25000 depending on the category of student For management quota students, fee is around 3.2 lac . Please note that fee vary with the branches and changes every year

Allahabad bank is present inside the college which can give loans to students. Since, it college is good, many national banks outside college are also ready to give loans easily to any student. there are some scholarships available which is dependent on the students performance inside and outside the college

The student crowd in BMSCE is considered to be the best in any college in Karnataka. The college attracts students from all the states of India and some other countries also. the gender ratio of college is 2:1. There is no discrimination on the basis of race , religion, caste, gender in the college. The college lacks its own sport ground but there is enough opportunity of labs, workshops, debates, sports

There are separate hostels for boys, girls and international students on sharing. however , the no of rooms available is less than required. so its very difficult to get hostel if you are taking late admission. So PG are easy to find in nearby spaces. Mess is also available for students of college. if you are residing outside in a pg, then also mess facility can be availed by paying the required fee Hostel fee and mess comes up to around 2 lac

In our branch , 50% of marks is for internals and rest for the semester end examination. The internal consists of labs, unit tests, quizzes and projects whose individual marks vary according to subjects. And semester end exam consist of one final written paper. some of both is considered as final marks. provision of makeup and fast track examination is also available for students who fail in main exam

i filled the comedk form in march 2015 and gave the entrance test in second week of may 2015. The result was declared in three weeks. 1st round of counselling was held in last week of june and 2nd round was held on third week of july. after i got my preferred college in 2nd round , i went to college and did all the formalities there and paid the fee. i received my college ID card on same day . That's it.

Most of the college faculty are PhD . They have a good knowledge of subject as they are in teaching field of 7-8 years or more. But as the time is very less for subjects in a semester , we have to spend a some time on self study also. Most of the faculty can be contacted during college hours for any doubts and clarification
