Remarks

One should clear 12th and Jee (all India)/ Gujcet (for Gujarat students). One must have an India rank of around 12k to 13k in Jee and a high rank in ACPC for Gujarat students. In 2022, the last acpc rank was around 255 in general. You can find the application form, application fees, and dates on the diet's official website. Out of 100% of seats, 50% of seats are reserved for acpc (for Gujarat students), 35% of seats are reserved for all India quota (through Jee), and 15% of seats are for NRI. also in acpc reserved seats, there are reserved seats for EWS, ST, and SC categories. It has a certain policy to take fees from students before applying for any branch in this college. I think this thing would be better. And the Refund policy of giving money back to the student is not as fast as the comparison of another college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

David offers three courses ICT (Information and Communication Technology), ICT with a minor in Computational Science, and MMC (Mathematics and Computing). I chose ICT because one of my friends who currently studying in direct advise me to choose that. In David, Faculty are very educative and responsive. I don't know much about the Faculty-student ratio but I experienced that faculty members are very knowledgeable persons. They not only taught theory but also gave us practical knowledge. There are two mid-sem exams and one end-sem exam. My first mid sem exam is coming. So I don't know how difficult was to pass it.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

I am currently in the first sem. So I don't know much about that. I heard from my seniors that many students get internships in many big companies as well. And they also get some stipends, nice PPO offers, and built strong resumes.

Placement Experience

5

From the ending of the 6th sem, you can apply for on-campus placement. Different companies have different eligibility criteria. For in-campus placement, many big companies like Google, Microsoft, etc. You can see a list of all companies on daiict 's website. The percentage of students getting placements is >95%. After getting the degree, I like to do a job for experience and if possible I want to start my business.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees per semester are 86000 in direct and more expenses like food and hostel fees(23000per semester) Especially, mess service is not available but they have canteen facility in that you can pay and get whatever food you want, So approx expenses is 5500 per month for food. For Gujarat students, They have a scholarship named MYSY (Mukhyamantri Yuva Swawlamban Yojna) and for others, They have Scholarships from the college for their performance in their exams. For more updates, you can check daiict's official website. They have different opportunities for interns by known companies like google, Microsoft, etc.

Campus Life

4.5

In the college, they have an annual fest named synapse in February, One sports event name Concours in Octoberand the tech fest name ifest in November. They have a huge collection of books and daily journals and they have an online library as well. They have a Smartboard and bio-metrics facility for attendance. They have three badminton courts and two basketball courts, and also a big ground for cricket and football, and two courts for volleyball, and many indoor sports as well. They have different types of clubs like sports clubs, drama clubs, music clubs, radio clubs, and many more. Every fest has its web site that is run by its students only.

Hostel Facilities

4

One bed, One table, One chair, and One cupboard for each student. They have two sharing and three shared rooms. Food quality is decent and there are various food dishes. There are both veg and nonveg counters. They allocate rooms randomly and are with the document verification process. For BTech students, there is mandatory to stay in the campus hostel.

There is no major problem in the curriculum regarding to the course. The curriculum covers almost all major real-world applications. But, the there is so much detailed and compulsive study on techniques that are not even used in today's time.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.
