Entrance Preview

All interested students must have a bachelor degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks for general category and 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC category. Students need to apply by filling up the form on the college website and appear for an entrance exam. Based on the performance in the entrance, a student will be offered seat.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum of MBA is almost same as that of the tier 1 colleges. The college understands the needs and principals of management and make sure that their students imbibe the true qualities of a leader and a manager and are able to achieve their goals and aims in the corporate world. Students are exposed to real life situations so that they can understand the way to handle the problems.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was mandatory for all the students and it was informed to us by the management during the admission process. They made it very clear that we need to submit the field and the name of the company we want to intern in, at the end of the 1st semester. The internship programme is organized in the summer vacation after the end of the second term examinations.

Placement Experience

The college appointed the best committee members during the inception of the college, and they have been working very hard till now. Every year they make sure that they understand the latest trends in the market or corporate world and help the students become professionally viable for the company. The students are given proper training accordingly and a lot of interviews are conducted as practice sessions for everyone.

College Events

All the students take actively part in the events and the college is famous for organizing events every quarter giving students time to relax and enjoy and simultaneously learn how to manage the events and its operations. They all are given some responsibility as per their interest and are expected to perform very well. There are a couple of teachers to guide them during the event, but complete authority is given to the students to take decisions.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable.
